Will Romney have wasted a bunch of money paying Newt's bitter old Ex-wife to slander him on ABC ??

Will Ron Paul crawl back under his rock ?

Will Santorum have hissy fit ?

???

Not sure, I realize that everyone wants a standard bearer, but I we can't get it. Maybe not ever. The best option is pick the person closest to our values and keep constant pressure on him and never let up. What about Huckabee? who would jump on that train as a late starter?

This is an unacceptable practice on this board. If you do that you think the person is messiah or you're a drug addict who does meth non-stop. You must vote for someone who can't win in order to be authentic.

No one gets out now. All 4 have enough money to move on. Paul wants the platform and Santorum wants to fight for his theocracy. ;)

Theocracy????????.................You mean he would govern like Theo Huxtable? That doesn't seem so bad. The Coz probably taught him well. Although from what I hear Mrs. Huxtable is a cokehead.

Everyone on this board is smart enough to realize that with this group of candidates the GOP have thrown up there (including Paul, who will probably get my vote) Obama won't have to spend ONE SINGLE DIME on his campaign to get elected. This is truly the saddest field of candidates that I've ever seen. It's too bad. This country cries out for true leadership and we get THIS.

Let's be fair. The Republicans are the Keystone cops of politics. There are mountains of verifiable dirt of chairman obama, enough to bury him up to his large ears. But come campaign time they will forget all of it and look like the Washington Generals to Obama's Harlem Globetrotters. If there were honesty in politics conservatives with libertarian leanings would trounce everyone else.

No...I'm right and you know it. This isn't about my personal choice. I voted for Obama once...I won't do it again. But Newt f*ckin Gingrich? Mitt Romney? A guy whose name has become synonymous with homo butt seks? Even Paul. Obama will beat any one of these guys by 20 points. These guys are all has-beens, crackpots, or both. Paul is a'ight but he has no chance.

Unless someone else steps forward, the GOP is doomed for at least 4 more years. Mainstream America would rather vote for a chimpanzee than Newt Gingrich.

If we get 4 more of the big O, stick a fork in us we're done.

Let me channel Nostradamus for a moment. Obama is not stopping here. If the god of leftists is government, then he will be moving on to the UN next. I predict he will either attempt to be the head of the UN, or try to create an African Union.

No one yet, at least until after Florida. Santorum probably goes next. After the last debate, I don't think he will endorse Gingrich right away, if at all. Newt's a little too unpredictable, at the very least, to Santorum.

Bro,

I smoked so much weed when I was 17-25 yrs old. It's been 20+ yrs since I quit.

I got tired of it and quit because I did'nt want it around my kids.
I smoked some a year or so ago and really hated the way it made me feel.
I have no issue with weed smokers.

Except,I thinks it's sad to see old farts toking on a joint.. Drool

When the proverbial sh1t hits the fan, Gingrich will get creamed by Obama. I don't know why, but at the end I think that at the very least Santorum's people will go to Mitt and some of Paul's will too. We are seeing a split of sorts in the Republican Party.

Does anybody really believe that South Carolina represents average America? It doesn't. It is a racist, backwards-ass, fundamentalist shit hole that is STILL fighting the civil war. SC is HARDLY a bellwether state. If you live there, I feel sorry for you.

Those were Democrats that had that problem. Normally they have someone competent assigned to vote for them. If it weren't for them, you would have got President Gore so be thankful.

Unlike Jade, I did not vote for Obama. But to counter your points...

Unemployment, sure you are correct, but average joe punch clock only will see the percentage down in the slick ads.

Iraq is a mess. Sure. But Americans aren't being killed there any more. Saddam had a handle on the whole thing. Bush started the expensive mess (an unnecessary war to boot) Obama will get credit for getting us out. Stopping the bleeding literally and financially.

Bottom line: He'll get credit for killing Bin Laden in three years, where Bush couldn't do it in seven.

I'm not happy about it, but if it becomes a Gingrich v Obama, I'll place a wager with you on the winner.
