What kills me is that the people supporting Idi Amin Jr.- and Kerry was one of them - would have gone blind with utter fanatical outrage if Bush attempted the same thing (as would most of the Idi Amin Jr. boot-licking types). And let's face it, even Bush got the approval from congress to take military action before he did anything. In some ways, he was more respectful of the Constitution that Idi Amin Jr.

But Lil' Idi and, his small wiener, his big mouth have gotten him into one HUGE frickin' mess. He drew a line in the sand, had ZERO capability to back it up, and now has to scramble and step around the Constitution to wipe the egg off his face. And his liberal buddies in Britain are deciding to sit this one out.

And when he takes action he has maybe 90 days to get Assad to crumble. If he doesn't,. he's violating the law (which, I guess, is nothing new to him), and it leaves him open for even his gutterslime Democrats to sign on to impeachment. Mainly because they sowed the seeds for over 10 years with Bush about how we don't need to be in that region, and that we don't need to send our men and women over there to die, and so on, and so on. As much as most Democrats (and slavish Democrat voters like drywalldog) are trained to swallow a sh*t sandwich on demand, their fringe isn't going to like having to roll over on their core beliefs for Boy Wonder in the Oval Office.

BTW, this also is an open door for Iran to get a little payback on the US in a semi-official way by defending Assad. And Assad - like Saddam - has an intelligence network that rivals most power players on the world stage.

This is not Milosovic this time, and Assad isn't some newcomer to his position.

Anyone defending Idi Amin Jr. on this one is either stupid, insane, or so totally out of touch with reality it is hard to even describe in words. This is not, in any way, our fight. Plus, the only way anyone can guarantee that those WMD don't fall into the hands of a Al Qaeda offshoot is to basically back Assad, which is contrary to what Idi Amin Jr. is doing.

Well, it was flushed down the toilet by people who believe what you believe.

Ignorant people like you are the problem, Junior, not the solution.

Drywall, I welcome you to move to Michigan. That way you can be a business failure in two states.

Where's your initiative?

Once more, Junior - just specifically how do I suck on the government teat?

And I'd think better of you if you stopped voting for reprobates and then justifying it by claiming that the other side if filled with bigger reprobates...which it is not. They might be weasles and wannebe reprobates, but no where NEAR the level of filth that now makes up the modern Democrat party.

Hell, I wouldn't even think less of you for voting independent.

But you cannot call yourself Christian, and stick up for Democrats with a straight face.

Oh and define failure?

You were the one on here whining about the drywall business in a state with a boom economy. So if I had to define it, I'd start with you.

I'll be the first one to say that no matter what we do, no one will attack Israel. No one in that region wants them to start unloading the nukes that they don't have, which they will undoubtedly do...if they had any, which the don't. {wink, wink}

Suuuure it is. The very fact that you tie your success to Democrats means you are a total failure.

You are the one who came on here whining about how you couldn't do well in a booming Florida economy, there Junior.

And yeah, I'm sure you have what everyone in your situation desires: a free Obamaphone, and a hefty EBT card from the government.

Well, at least you got that correct.

That give you 1 win and 34,567 losses.

(Ok, 2 if we include both "fat" and "ugly" as two separate points.)

I am a Christian and i am also a Soldier, Potts has good points here. Reality stinks.....when you hide behind christianity and bury your head. Sometimes you have to "Dance with the devil" to do the right thing...sounds hypocritical but it is still reality.

Too bad nobody ever came up with an idea of having an international group. Maybe a cooperative of countries. Like a League of Nations. Or maybe they could call it the United Nations. They could deal with these one off, garbage conflicts.

Nahhhh. Keys see if we can get our debt up to 18 trillion.

Spending money on this if we had a SURPLUS would be dumb enough.

Some simple questions, as I'm a simple man. Disclaimer.... These questions are meant to be provocative.

The Syrians bombed the Syrians, so, we are contemplating shooting missiles at the Syrians, as retaliation?

This is an ongoing civil war where 100,000 people have already died, isn't it?

Isn't this actually a conflict between the Sunni and Shia?

This threatens our National Security how?

Shouldn't any outside response come from the U.N. instead of the U.S.A. acting unilaterally?

We want the same body of government to decide if we act or not, that cannot pass a budget successfully?

Isn't it a questionable play for the President to now throw the decision at congress, so that they can be blamed in the end?

Have we not learned anything from our past mistakes in the region?

A few days ago, the President was ready to act unilaterally without an act of congress, to strike the Syrian govt. over WMD, wasn't he?

Sound familiar?

What changed?

I forgot one question too add to the above.

Isn't this all Bush's fault?

Happy Labor Day!Beer

Why yes, you could ask the Kurd villagers or the Iranians Saddam gassed, but too late, they are dead.

The Sarin gas and many thousand of atropine kits in Iraq were not imaginary.

You really need to read something other than the democrat party ankle biters handbook.

This is what the Kenyan King wants. He wants Israel to burn to the ground and it's streets flow with blood.

Actions don't lie.

Now, with this supposed airstrike he's outwardly supporting Al Qaeda and nobody talks about that.

Once again the Kenyan King is on the wrong side.
