This is what I continue to have trouble understanding about Liberals/democrats, a healthy middle class, able to generate GNP and with that pay taxes is an open road to riches AND we never put up too much of a fight if they keep the trains running on time. Endless supply if they massage it correctly. They can continue to rob us as much as they can, for a long, long time, why try and end this gravy train?

Most of a nation on the public dole, taking and not producing anything but excrement will, within a short time frame revolt (if they still have the means) and then everyone loses.

What am I missing?

Healthy and happy middle class=endless supply of riches, with minimal risk
Small middle class, much larger lower=road to ruin, with much higher chance of death for the rulers

Why do you have an employee that is buying EBT cards?
I believe that is illegal.

Seems to me that an employee that is willing to show off to his boss his illegal activities should be fired.

More significantly, his willingness to purchase that EBT card is helping to create the exact problems being complained about with these things. He bought that card so that some other dumb-ass could go buy alcohol or crack or whatever the hell wasteful thing they're looking to get into. Then some liberal is going to see the hungry crackhead and decide that we need to increase the amount of $$ going to food stamps because they aren't getting enough food.

So... you should fire that employee for wasting your tax dollars (actually, he literally bought some of your tax dollars at 60% face value) and then for being stupid enough to brag about it.

If he told you he stole money from your wallet, could you fire him?
He essentially stole cash. EBT cards are a tax redistribution plain and simple, cash money you gave the government goes to that system. If he is buying that EBT at a discounted rate, and then using it at it's full face value, he is stealing money from the taxpayers.

Fire him, if he asks why tell him it's because he seems to like using EBT cards so much, you thought you'd give him a legal method to do so.

Why must he be convicted to be fired? He got a contract or union that says so? Either way, unless your report him, he won't ever get caught and punished. That makes you part of the problem.
