Possibly the last thing in the world I would like to consider is the gestation period of a human female. I use that as a defense of my error.

Well, back in medieval England it was important to know the maximum ground speed velocity of your large wooded badger.

And if you double a 1 foot cube of water in all dimensions, how many cubic feet of water do you have?

Your question is phrased ambiguously.

Are you doubling a cubic foot of water, by increasing all three dimensions equally?
Or are you asking for the volume of a cube 2x2x2?

Sorry to not have been clear.
OK, so what is the dimensions of 2 cubic feet of water - as a cube of equal sides?

What Drafter answered. Oddly, a lot of people have trouble with the whole 8:1 ratio of doubling an objects measurements in all three dimensions.

Oh...
I thought it was supposed to be a trick question, with the oblique phrasing. ie... if you double 1cu ft of water, you get 2 cu ft of water.

Just to peal the onion on your stance:
Is it murder when a soldier shoots another soldier in combat?
Is beer a gateway drug?

Fair questions I think . . . .

Well, they mean well. But honestly their rational for forcing their values on others is scary dangerous. I mean calling it morally distasteful is understandable – but classifying even 'the morning after pill' as a capital offence? Seem like sharia law to me . . .

Weed, a gateway to enlightenment? Hmmmm. . . .
I don’t think it has any effect on self-righteousness. But I can envision heated arguments over the moral implications of eating a raw pop tart. WWJD?

It is not murder when a soldier defends himself.
Beer is gateway booze.
Next question..

So is it murder when a soldier attacks or invades, like the Nazi’s invading Poland? This of course would be determined by you being Polish or Nazi at that point – I’m sure the Germens felt they were acting defensively.

And alcohol can lead to drugs, yes?
