A. You OK? Late night? Lack of sleep?
B. If you feel the need to take this literally, then you're missing the point. The Dems here aren't any more in favor of the DP today then they were last year. They just are willing to let a more prominent democrat (Holder/Obama) place a ruling without nary a blink or peep.
Call it hypocrisy (I do), call it lack of character (I do), call it lack of conviction for their beliefs (I do).

You get the gist.

I dunno.... maybe they're now "pro death penalty in the case of explosives at marathons"...

We won't really know until the next person blows something up in boston.

Maybe the new bloodlust is the product of that "Boston Strong" re-imaging marketing campaign.

( The previous "Boston: we're not as douchbaggy as NY" was a failure)

or call it close to home. As Big Papi said "this is our bleeping city!" Sort of like when people say no atheists in a fox hole...no one knows until they are in a fox hole.

I'm still against it though.

I respect that you're against it.
But the "close to home" argument is hogwash.

Yes, this POS deserves it.
But so does a guy who rapes and kills a child (for example). Just because there are no federal influences or popular story lines or support from the local sports franchises doesn't make a crime less heinous or the penalty less severe.

Bullsh#t.

More important than killing people, this guy cost money.

Nothing more heinous than costing a company money.

lots of people deserve it. I was merely posing a possible reason that local libs may not be kicking up a storm other than the "fact" they lack character.

I forgot already, how do we know libs in MA truly support the death penalty in this case...before we even wonder why?
