Unions killed manufacturing in the US, but they "save" one company and we're supposed to rejoice?
That's kinda funny. Truth be told, they likely "saved" Ford from themselves. Not quite a true savior. They finally did something worthy after decades of decadence. And add to this the fact that GM did go belly up, in large part because of the unions.
But before you wet your panties, know that I've had a change of heart. Skilled trade unions still serve a great function in this country.
The UAW, however, can be lumped into the teacher unions and all public unions. Great people. Terrible, controlling, counter productive unions.
Just one man's opinion based on my own direct (and consistent) experiences.
