don't worry mikey.
If it rains all the cottonmouths I will have caught will be tied up to the poles and everyone will surely be huddled in the middle of the polebarn out of the rain.
We thought of everything this year.

Change mine from "workin' on it" I'm coming damnit

Also, this is weird but I have a ****load of salmon I caught in Alaska that I'm trying to get rid of. I have more than I could ever eat. Should I bring any? I literally probably have 100+ lbs of it. Even if we dont eat it, I'd be willing to give some away if anyone is interested.

Let me know.

TJ.
If you can get it there I can smoke it and then you can take it home preserved and give away some. I do this with my uncle that charters. Not my first rodeo. Is it fileted or whole? No difference. Just want to know what equipment to bring.
Will need 5 gallon buckets and about 5# of salt and a bag of brown sugar. It will be worth your while.

Dill is really good with salmon as well, and you can put it in the brine before you smoke it.. Ray, is the smoker there? if not, I have one I can bring...

I brought a big long barrel bbq smoker that would work great. could use some indirect heat n smoke it slow. I have several ice chests that we can soak it in.

Hel I could just smoke it over wood we cut hanging the fish over bamboo. Old fashion way. Its important to brine and then make sure there completely dry before indirect slow and low smoke.. Figured on making a bamboo drying rack.

Prop -

The place we went filleted it and flash froze it on the spot. It's been in a deep freeze since. It is frozen solid as a rock and will easily be frozen in the short trip over to the 'Sip in a cooler.

Here is one of the pics from the camp after a day of fishing.

https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3732/11264453125_a9406e960c_b.jpg

My question is, how much do you want me to bring? Do you think others will want some? I'm happy to give away as much as any wants. I'm not kidding. I have over 150 lbs of fish and I'm going back in August. At least 100 lbs is Silver Salmon. I've also got rock fish, yellow fish and other stuff but not in large quantities.

Should I bring 20-30 lbs? Hell I dunno.

It's not everyday you get to have such a rare treat. I'd have no problem purchasing enough for a meal or two for my wife and I.
Fresh caught is always better than store bought. Mark me down for a couple pounds.

The old fashioned way is the best. I can live off campfire food. I'm bringing some smokin' wood. Apple and Kansas Hickory..

Campfire coffee!
