So, the normal menu is planned with something for Thursday as well... Prop can do whatever he wants to the fish, but if he needs help or wants me to do it, I can, but not on a bamboo smoker.... lol And if Mikey wants to bring a bald featherless turkey I'll figure out something to do with it....

Allrighty, a 15 lb bald bird is in the ice box thawing out. Last time I took one from the deep freeze it took all of 5 days to be ready to cook. If Raymond has the smoker there we can throw it on that and have a little extra munchies. It would make some good sammiches for the trip home,,,, if we could only get some gubbmint cheese.

It's not everyday you get to have such a rare treat. I'd have no problem purchasing enough for a meal or two for my wife and I.
Fresh caught is always better than store bought. Mark me down for a couple pounds.

There wont be any money changing hands. I will bring it and Prop can either smoke it or you can take it home in raw form.

Like I said, I have more than I can eat.

PECAN CRACK BARS!!!!!!!

Sorry Mama Tank. That's what I think of every time I see you post. Those things really made an impression with me. Man they are good!!!

Right now, we have a game at 8:00 and 2:00 on Saturday. So it's possible I could come visit that afternoon. Of course the brackets could change between now and then.

Safe travels everyone!!!

I am missing my son's semi-final and final match in the state President's Cup. I feel conflicted.

I know what you mean Fenster. Seeing some great buds that you only get to hang with annually, or supporting your kid. It's a tough balance. That's why I'm doing my best to do both.

Funny thing is, my family is talking about the herf as much as I am. Tawni wants to know if Blu and Bear will be there. Ocho and Halee say they cant wait to see Mr. Prop. We might just make a family day trip of it Saturday afternoon.

By packing, I just mean pulling **** out of the closet and throwing it in a pile to pack an hour before it's time to leave.

I'm not even going to pack cigars, I'm going to use the General's system and just smoke whatever you guys bring.

The place we went filleted it and flash froze it on the spot. It's been in a deep freeze since. It is frozen solid as a rock and will easily be frozen in the short trip over to the 'Sip in a cooler.

Here is one of the pics from the camp after a day of fishing.

My question is, how much do you want me to bring? Do you think others will want some? I'm happy to give away as much as any wants. I'm not kidding. I have over 150 lbs of fish and I'm going back in August. At least 100 lbs is Silver Salmon. I've also got rock fish, yellow fish and other stuff but not in large quantities.

Should I bring 20-30 lbs? Hell I dunno.

Sorry TJ. I started walking to the sip and this is the first time I got to a computer. Bring all you want. Figure to bring 5# salt and a bag of brown sugar for every 40#s you want to smoke. Don't feel selfish it you want to bring a bunch just to get smoked and take home with you. 20#s or 100#s makes no difference.

I'll be smoking it for you to take home and what you want to share. That is up to you. This will be the last transmission as it is getting harder to find an open computer at the truck stops.
Walking on. wave as you go by me on 65 south
