Por Laranga PC '08. Started harsh,ut mellowed after 3/4". Still slightly tannic at 7 years old. Needs to be aged probably 10yrs IMHO to get rid of the tannin so the sweetness can real shine. Haven't smoked from this cab for a couple years. Disapointment b/c I expected it to be "Ready for my taste. 80 rating from me. Brick wall

El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme '07 Great cigar. loose draw, but plenty of tobacco- almost heavy in the hand. Tiny slice of midle of the cap- less than 1/4" diameter to compensate for loose draw. I have smoked some from this cab with a larger or full cut and they were so bad I was going to sell the rest of the cab to someone whose pallate and apreciated the near bitterness Dark chocolate color with oily wrapper. Solid 89 rating from me!

RyJ coronitas en cedro 5/12. These cigars age from OK to good to great more than any other cigar I know. My 2012 are in the good, almost great, stage now.

Haven't had any cubans real recently but the last of them that "accidentally" made their way into my humidor did so after I returned from a month and a half in Budapest & Vienna in 2012. Blew way more on cigars during my trip than I should have but another American tourist turned me on to H.Upmann Half Coronas. Had a nice flavor profile for being such a small stick (3.5" x 44 or 46?). Spicy, cedary, sweet and very thick/rich. Smoked the last one that somehow stowed away when I returned to the US about six months ago.

Romeo y Julieta #1 tubo - gifted at wedding..........sourced from a little shop in Milan Italy down by cathedral......looks legit.........has apparent age with bloom crystals......should have been great but was only good...I was expecting better for a cuban.......have only smoked a handful of Cubans so I'm no expert.. reminded me of g.a.r. Zulu zulu but milder. Enjoyed it but did not knock my socks off in any way. Reminds me that we have a lot of great NCs and an r and j is no monte.

I need to buy about 7 more boxes of these. I just can't get tired of them.

I went into the LCdH in Hong Kong in 2004 and grabbed 3. It's been downhill since.

RE: Edmundos

I remember when these 1st came out and I didn't like them. Took my 2 years age before I began to appreciate them.
