Today I received a box of 10 Partagas serie P no. 2 piramide. I should preface by saying I have very little experience with CC. a side from a box of Partagas serie D robusto my wife brought me from Hong Kong 10yrs or so ago, which I remember liking a lot. Anyway, upon opening the box my first thought was, these are ugly sticks. One was very blotchy, most had very visible seams and most are veiny another had a small crack in the wrapper. Well, a little disappointed I didn't want to prejudge, I figure the proof is in the smoking. So... Very pleasantly surprised, smoked perfectly. Draw, smoke output, burn all very nice. Taste, much more mild than expected in the first third, it picked up quite a bit in the 2nd third. Overall it was a very enjoyable cigar. I will be back for more!

unbanded "Behike 52" It was a gamble, but I'd say they were worth the coin. I'll never be able to say for sure what it was, but I can say that it was true to blend, and aside for some construction issues, a wonderful cigar.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. IIRC, it came from you in the pass, right? Thanks for putting it in. It's only the 3rd one I've ever had but the taste remained true to the first 2. I need to look into getting more of them. The only junk part while I was out in the garage is when one of my neighbors came by and was talking story with me so it went out and I hadda relight it after he left. But still smoked fine thereafter.

Yeah it was one of mine, that's why I asked :) Trinidads can a very polarizing marca, but I love them. Just wish I could still get some robustos.

^ can't imagine it'll be too much longer and the Trinidad vigia will be on the market. The one cigar I'm most looking forward too....as I was a big fan of the robusto T.

I have been missing that great Cuban Twang from most of my CC staples lately until I fired up a Dip #2 and a SCdLH Principe yesterday. These were both phenominal and had that great Twang that most of us look for in Koooooobans! Both were from early 2013. If you can get some, GRAB them!

Punch Super Seleccion #1 from '01.

I'm normally not much of a Punch fan, but these are rock solid.

Yep, the SS#1, is one of my favorite Punch cigars. It is a real pity, that they were discontinued. I can't believe that Habanos so fit to discontinue, my favorite Punch.

I had an 07 Punch corona yesterday, and while good, it is not near as good as the SS#1. So I followed it with a Bolivar CE, from 07. A great cigar, probably my favorite Bolivar, and also sadly discontinued. But at least they still make other great Bolis. I haven't had a Bolivar that I didn't like.

Yesterday PM smoked a Bolivar CJ and a HUHC. I found both to have nice flavor profiles in their own right with the CJ being the bolder of the two.

Paul, thanks again for the trade.

One of the best short smokes I've aver experienced. Smooth, draws easy even though small, not strong, and almost inhalable ( which I do). Enjoyable!
