Buckwheat hit it in the head. Never seen so many folks upset a prez got elected since day 1. Also never seen a prez have so many folks call for a prez impeachment after virtually every decision. It is not usual.

Then again I've never seen a First Lady attacked consistently for her looks either. But in fairness we've never had one that was a chewbacca before.

I'm sure there is no one out there doing so because of race however since racism has been wiped out (well except reverse racism since "they" are allowed to be racist)

I don't think the outrage from the right began on day one. I think once the pain of losing was over, the country was ready to move forward to some degree. But then we got to know Obama the man. A man who apologizes when none is needed. A man who hired incompetent, under qualified, and known tax cheats to populate his cabinet. A man who pushed trillion (with a T) dollar stimulus packages with no stimuli included. A man who pushed a healthcare insurance bill through without allowing time to read (never mind digest and discuss). A man who used race as a means to outrage the nation (Cambridge Police, et al). A man who constantly refers to republicans as "Them". Who uses politics to divide the country rather than unite.

The perplexing thing isn't that some are now finally speaking up against him. It's that it didn't happen sooner.

Hell, late night TV did comedy routines about her looks.

She is a bitter, bitter lady who feels compelled to Flaunt her title as Mrs. Chosen One. She attempts to BE a fashion trend. She is trying too hard to be Jackie Kennedy in Camelot part deux.

Of course there is racism.
But if you see criticism of Obama as predominantly racist rather than partisan (or sometimes just sane) commentary, then it speaks more about you than it does those you target.

For me at least race and political party have nothing to do with my view of president Obama being an ineffective president. It is based solely on his actions. I think many other Americans hold the save point of view.

TG, I get that waaaay to many people think any criticism of president Obama is racist. Also like your humor. But I am sooooo tired of looking at how poor of a job he has done in my opinion. Also I am sooooo tired of his agenda not representing what America needs in my opinion. Simply put I would like a president that works for all of the people.

The thing is it's all or nothing that's my point. Either everyone criticizing Obama is racist or no one is. Even what I said is taken as saying anyone criticizing is racist. It's convienient.

As for not being against Obama since day one...birthers.

And no I don't remember anyone criticizing Barbara on her looks. Maybe they did I just didn't notice. I do remember nancy getting it for her spending and weird psychic stuff.

As for Bush, yea the left hated them from day 1. You have to admit he came in under weird circumstances. As for me, I liked him and was glad the supremes hired him until Colin Powell addressed the UN. That was the oh **** moment to me.
