I think the media polls are skewed with agnostic 3rd and fourth choices, so this poll has 2 only. You either agree with what they did or you don't.

I personally disagree for several reasons:

1) Our country is now less safe due to releasing 5 terrorists who have vowed to cause more trouble.
2) The president did this illegally, and should be held accountable for having done so.
3) I believe the timing was meant to deflect media attention from other problems, but failed miserably.
4) After seeing the massive pushback, they attempted to mitigate damage by stating "we don't leave anyone behind".
They left 4 Americans to die in Bhengazi. And because of that, they can never again truthfully utter those words. I
find that excuse for releasing terrorists insulting on so many levels.

Today, I heard a report that there were no findings of any soldier deaths caused by searching for Sgt. Berghdal. I've also heard several seperated troops he served with say otherwise...and I surely believe the guys who were there, so there is already some covering-up going on yet again. When will we dicide enough is enough? And how will "putting the issue to rest" help?

As distasteful it may be to release the five hostages, I think bringing him home for an opportunity at due process was a good idea. Those terrorists are already replaced by others in the terrorist structure so releasing them probably won't lead to new attacks. having said that, I think the probability of him being innocent is minimal. Let him rot in our military jails.

THAT'S not gonna happen!

This deserter is going to enjoy celebrity status while people in other nations are looking at this as a golden opportunity to do whatever they want and start taking prisoners as a bargining method! Your guy that you voted for let down every service member by not being a Commander In Chief. He effectively has put each and every soldier on the line as a hostage and his administration will deal for their release.

The Kenyan King says he's not leaving anyone behind...but when that little uprising in Libya took place and how did THAT work out? That's right...we left them behind and told lies about how it was all about a YouTube video.
