http://www.politifact.com/punditfact/article/2014/oct/21/pew-study-finds-rush-limbaugh-least-trustworthy-ne/

The most interesting thing about this study is that the sources people claim to trust the most ACTUALLY are the sources which have been caught lying the least (CNN). I didn't think people as a group were going to get that right.

Also surprising, the sources we trust least (Limbaugh) are apparently lying 82% of the time (when checked).

Apples and apricots. Anyone who considers Rush a 'news source' either isn't too bright or isn't really trying.

He's a verbal blogger -- an editorialist -- don't think he ever claimed to be anything more

In the land of skeweed news among the mainstream media I find CNN to be the most middle of the road. Although thast really doesn't say much.

That's only true to an extent. One can't "factcheck" an opinion, so anything he's been found to be lying about is something he claimed to be true. While his "editorial" may be what he's selling as a bill of goods, the "facts" he's using to support his opinion are apparently being found to be wrong an inordinate amount of times. This is still dangerous.

Hey. You have another network you'd like to offer up as lying less?

Rush claims to be right nearly 100% of the time (He has a percentage but I forget what it is). Are you saying he is not? The problem is not everyone realizes he is purely for entertainment (like the WWE) and take him seriously. Some in here. The same is true for that Maddow dude, Hannity etc.

Nice try buddy.

I think anyone who gets their info from any one source is foolish.

I don't disagree with that. But I didn't ask you where you got your information from.

I asked if you thought there was another major network which should have a better score than CNN from politifact. You seemed to think it was funny that they scored better than fox or MSNBC.

The only news I get from television is the local news, and luckily there is at least one station in New England that does not lead with the sensational. Too often, anyway!
