A "friend" gave me an Acid Nasty the other day and I smoked it (or tried to) on the way home from work. It's small and pyramid-shaped, with a tip that had the tip alreadyopen, making me believe that it was machine-made, not hand-rolled. Before I lit it up, I noticed it was not fully packed. The aroma was a bit enticing, something like the aroma of roses. The taste, or lack of taste, was something else again. Try as I might, I could not get any flavor or at least anything remotely resembling tobacco. You would get better results from a Denoboli, Ramrod or a White Owl. Come to think about it, a dried up dog t*rd might be an,improvement. I can't honestly say this is the worst cigar ever made because obviously, I have not smoked every cigar ever made. But if it isn't, it's way up there. ram27bat

I've smoked DeNobili's- but not in decades. I will not smoke anything in the Acid line again.

I had a really green Montecristo one time that I had bought in a liquor store. It was like puffing on that medicinal smell at the hospital. Worst cigar experience ever.

I've been smoking cigars for over 10 years now so I have to say I have had my share of bad cigars. The EGG from Drew Estates was particularly bad for me. No taste and quite expensive. Avoid it.

Fake Cohiba still by far the worst thing I ever smoked.....and I took THREE puffs off that turd.
First puff - gawd dang that's nasty.....I musta screwed up the light.....
Second - holy carp!.....is thing really that nasty??....I'll have to take a third puff to be sure....cause my taste buds must be off or something.......
Third puff - confirmation......the nastiest dog rocket I've ever encountered

I dissected it.....short filler floor sweepings....not even sure it was all tobacco.....and it took some effort (beers and cigars) to get that taste outa my mouth.

Happened back when I was still a noop..........

Yes, first clue not to smoke shoulda been "Acid", second clue shoulda been "Nasty".

Ahh well, life is a learning journey through which we all must pass.

We have some cigars at the shop that the owner brought with him when he opened this shop... They're called The Resistance... Never have found any info on them... Smoked one once with a former employee... Took a few puffs and had to throw it... Without a doubt the worst cigar I've ever encountered...

Worst cigar I've ever had hands down is a T****sons house blend. I've told the ladies of CBID that ACTUALLY mentioning their name ISN'T a competitor reference because they suck more balls than the Backstreet boys on extasy at a ball sucking contest.

Flor de Gonzolez ? from one of those two florida
competitors...

I got a bundle of chuchills for $19.95...

I smoked one and almost puked.

I sold the rest of the bundle at a flea market
for $25 to some idiot w/ more money than me.

I didn't return to that flea market for years!!!

I like doing the nasty, er, uh, smoking the nasty...
I actually like them.
PM me if you want to trade. Fender

BTW- worst of all time for me was Raji's Untimely Demise as a brand new noobie. (Yes, I bought the sampler.) Tasted like kerosene smells.

A lot of good replies here. You should keep in mind that MOST of the dog rockets mentioned here are cheap or designed to attract unwary noobs. The Nasty and The Egg are not cheap cigars and are designed to lure those who should know better.

Just what do you like about the Nasty? There are so many better, less expensive options to be had.

I definitely agree. Just like the taste (red ACID), size, and draw of the Nasty (when they're on here for a good price) for a change of pace, but prefer the smaller, less expensive Krush Red in the tins. It's just enough ACID to say "OK, I had something different, now it's time for a real cigar." And to me, the only way to taste the tobacco in any ACID is on a retrohale. Otherwise, you just taste the potpourri, roses, etc.

Got the egg on the cheap here once. Gimmick. Big DE Natural. Overpriced fun gift item?

^^ that was funny.

I wish it was that easily explained....but it isn't.

All of the Acids are gimmick cigars. I used to smoke a Kuba for a change of pace but my tastes have changed and I can no longer tolerate them.

+1 I'm a noob so I haven't smoked tons of different cigars but I agree. I still have 4 left out of the 5 pack that I bought last Summer. (and I threw the one that I "smoked" away about 1/4 of the way in)

I remember this dog rocket. I bought a bundle from my local 'baccy shop and was able, with enormous effort, to smoke two of them. Bought the rest back for an exchange. God-awful smoke, but I still think the Nasty has an edge,

Again, as stated before, Gurkha Warpig, tasted like wet newspaper, and had the exclusive '"fire proof wrapper" filler would burn, but not the wrapper.

A bottom trawling BID got me a Mazo of Gurka Prize Fighters.
WOW .... the worst dog rockets on earth. Smoked two and trashed the rest.
The second stick even "exploded" during the first 3rd burning a hole in my shirt.
Seeds inside were exploding like popcorn.

HA ...... stay clear of the "Prize Fighter" unless you like the taste and smell of SKUNK

Had the prizefigher.....mostly airballs...skunky would have given them something. Most cheapies you get what you pay for.....but sometimes you find a gem making the hunt worthwhile. Worst for me was $20 for an Acid Kuba Kuba 10 years ago before I knew what an infused was like...based on a recommendation for best premium cigar by a shop in Orlando. Worst value/experience combo.Should have known something when I saw a big hookah and pillows on floor.

worst cigar... I've had a few but I'd say anything from Victor Sinclair. I think I'd rather smoke ground up rubber bands packed in cat **** than any of those.

I've had others, too. Can't recall what they were.

I don't buy Gurkha any longer. I've had too many quality issues with them.

I would have to say Bad Frogs or the first introduction of lone wolfs (tasted like smoking plastic with a lovely rubber finish) Yikes.

I acknowledge that infused cigars have their place, so as much as I detested the one Acid I had, I wouldn't list it here. As for Gurkhas...well, they've got their own special category.
I have had some truly awful VS's, but there are some very good value gems hidden in the line.

I would have to put the RP R4 at the top of my list of Worst. Coming from a maker who knows better and is capable of decent, if problematic lines, the R4 is horrid beyond comprehension.

And shame on you all.
How does this thread almost reach 40 posts without mention of Tamboril circa mid '90s?

I used more mouthwash that night than TW did after his first bj.

Those RP R4's were pretty bad. Worst Gurk I ever had was the Gurkha Havana Selection torpedo CT I picked up off another auction site and have seen nowhere else (but I really didn't look hard).
