Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner in a recent interview:

"I have gotten more flack for being a conservative Republican than I have for being trans."

Think about that.

A famous male athlete, a gold medal olympic athlete in the manliest of man events, becomes a woman by choice. She is given awards for "bravery" and those who don't celebrate are labeled as haters.

Meanwhile, we read all the time about how hateful the Republican party is, implying that Democrats are much more inclusive and loving.

But at the end of the day, it is ugly partisan politics from the left that "trumps" the supposed bigotry of the right when it comes down to reality versus perception.

How many pointless/worthless comments can you make in a day?

tailgater will make a salient point and you will come back with mindless drivel.

I know you are really just immensely jealous that you can never win an argument when you go against a guy with logic and facts. tailgater probably knows it too.

Let me help you with your next argument.. just accuse either tailgater or me of being racist, use the playbook.

So I hope this doesn't mean that being a conservative republican turns men into women....who will be left to get all the hot conservative political commentators/journalists? (or are they soon to become men?). The tragedy of it all. I guess that's another reason why the second amendment is so important.

It's all good Tailgater. Liberals do tend to villify conservative republicans - forgetting that they too only want what is best. We have too much division between the ideologies if you as me. But so it goes....

But keep those cards and letters coming - We need to hash out the crap in the conservative and liberal media both.

Bloviator

1. A public figure, such as a politician or an actor, who makes outlandish, strident statements on issues, thinking that the average man will care about their opinions.

2. Someone who pontificates about issues of which they are uninformed, yet pretend to be expert.

3. Pompous blowhard, using their celebrity to speak about topics on which they are totally unqualified.

You don't get it, do you?

Jenner was likely a conservative his entire adult life. It's not new news.
Yet he receives MORE flack for being on the right, then he does for changing his sex.
This speaks VOLUMES for how horrid the liberals are, and their intense hypocrisy. Yes, both sides show the hypocrisy, but the left are much further entrenched. It's not even close.
For every sexually deviant member of the Dugger family there will be 10 liberals telling us we need a $15 minimum wage will paying their own interns $12/hour.
But all we'll hear about is the Dugger kid.
And you can't even see it. Or perhaps you just refuse.

Oh, you were serious? Ok....

Liberals are the same as conservatives in that they come in all flavors. I see hypocrisy on both sides, but not in all people. Your talking about liberals when you should be talking about some people who are liberal. It is the same difference as taking about what a black man did as opposed to what blacks do.

Jenner backing the republicans - a group known to be unwelcoming to the LGBT community - while he has a sex change really makes him look stupid. I'm sure he is just voting his wallet, but it does look silly.

And the truth is we do need the $15 minimum wage. We do not need the Duggar family.
By the way I had to look up who the hell the Duggars are - so you must be watching too much of the wrong channels....
Try PBS.

Oh, and while the Duggars are a portrait of a conservative family, they are not representative of conservatism - Thank God.

...we do need the $15 min wage?

why not $25?

Why not $50?

I mean, more is better, right? More means a more livable wage.

Who decides these min wage amounts?

Only 3.9% of workers are at or below the fed min wage, for those paid on an hourly basis (77 mil) add in those paid on Salary, about another 75 mil and you can cut that rate in half for all people employed. (from the bureau of labor statistics)

Most are young, first job people with no skills. You cream small businesses with mandated $15/hr rates. You think McD's isn't just going to automate their burger flippers and hire less people?
Mom and pop restaurants, scraping by aren't going to hire any new employees and may cut back on personel, or pass the prices to customers.. if their customers will pay for it...if not, unemployment here we come.

So flip the costs onto the public and basically put a round about tax on everyone, even poor people.

I mean, God forbid we don't give the slacker more, by taking it from the owner who worked to be an owner. That's only fair, right? I should share what little I make with the doper around the corner who doesn't want a job, cause it's not fair he doesn't have what I have, right?

So.....
You don't understand why we have a minimum wage.
You don't understand how we arrive at it's amount.
You don't know who fixes the wage price.

Why are you so hellbent set on apologizing for liberals on this one?
Liberals are supposed to be inclusive. So much so that it doesn't matter if you decide to be dude or a chick each day.
But a conservative republican???? The horror.
I can see why they give him grief.

And as for the Duggar family, I can happily say that I've never once seen the show, but did watch liberal television hosts pee themselves with delight when they told the story of the kid raping his sister (or whatever it was).

You mistake explanation for apology.

"Liberals are supposed to be inclusive" This is where your supposition is that people of an idealolog are homonigious with a play book of some kind. This of cource is in no way true. To illustrate I point out that conservatism has many flavors, and values.

The world is shades of gray Tail, not black and white.

Jenner lambasted for being a...... FREAK

WGAF which party he is for, he's a freak. Why anyone pays attention or listens to a word from his mouth is beyond me. Probably all Kardasian watchers too.

The idiotic media gives him an Award for being courageous for becoming a woman, when the fact is he's not courageous enough to be a man.

And what da fuq does that freak have to do with minimum wage? Sheep are easy to distract.
