Donald Trump is beating Hillary Clinton among white men because guns, gays, and God, according to former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“I think that, so many times, white — non-college-educated white males have voted Republican. They voted against their own economic interests because of guns, because of gays, and because of God, the three G’s, God being the woman’s right to choose,” Pelosi told PBS’s Judy Woodruff in an interview Wednesday.

But, Pelosi contended, that’s changing because of Clinton’s “economic agenda to create jobs, good-paying jobs, increasing paychecks.”

The opposition from white males “is softening,” she argued.

“Some of those people were never going to be voting Democratic anyway. But I believe that, with the turnout that we expect to have, we will draw some of them in with our message, and enough other people to win the election.”

What's more surprising than ANYTHING she has to say....it that folks continue to vote for that dog in heat

She ( Hillary Rotten Clinton ) was asked " point blank " if she believed that a fetus that was ONE DAY from birth had any constitutional rights......she simply replied she was a supporter of Roe V Wade. So NO not even a baby one day from being born is NOT a human being and enjoys NO RIGHTS

IMHO, there IS something VERY wrong with this.

'Hillary Clinton said that Americans will have to change their religious and personal convictions. Convictions and belief systems of citizens should not stand in her way. Cultural codes and religious beliefs have to change, Hillary said. She said the same thing in April of last year at the the sixth annual Women in the World Summit.'

Hillary. But then I'd let Victor know to vacate the premises because nobody deserves that.

So I can see where this would be offensive to some - undereducated white men......

But you have to admit there is a lot of truth in it. Ultra-right conservatives are classically blinded to a candidates overall platform by wedge issues.

Proof of this is that no ones wants Lord Cheeto in office for any reason other than to block Clinton - or prolly any progressive.

Funny - Pelosi was not PC, but did hit the nail on the head. And since this is Donald's most endearing (if not only) quality, maybe Pelosi is just emulating him.....

The assertion is that the religious fundamentalists may live as they choose, but not inflict their view and laws on others. - not that their God is wrong. Beware those who proport to know the mind of God - it is the ultimate conceit.

I get it though - Hillery represents all that is wrong, bad, and evil in government to many. Yet, on the whole, there really is no evidence of this. I think it is a general rage towards the injustice of our country with progressives as the scape goats. But it is not the progressives that back the wage gaps, concentration of wealth or stifled social programs.

Just sayin'

^No... it's the democrats. Who choose to give people 'just enough to live on', instead of making people fend for themselves.

Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day... teach him to fish, and he doesn't need you... so he might start to think for himself and vote against your sorry ass.

I go into a lot of warehouses. And the workers will tell me that Obama is a mooslum from Kenya and he want to destroy our country. And that if you are sick you should drink orange soda. And that we need a real man like Trump to fly to every nation and kick their leader in the balls - so they know not to eff with the US.....

Typical democrat. You think you're smarter and better than the unwashed (or uneducated) masses.

I'd much rather socialize with blue collar, hard working people who do for themselves than philosophers who think because they attended a few more years of school they're wise.

I don't profess to know a lot... but I do know the gov't is wasteful. Can we agree on that? And if we can agree on that... you still think they can do a better job with your money? I don't. I don't want my gov't to support me. I don't want them to do any more than enforce the laws we have, secure our borders, and provide for our infrastructure.

Hell, I don't even want them in charge of our education anymore. When 3rd world countries are churning out much smarter students... we have a problem.

YES!!! The government should not be in the charity business. The money they control is NOT theirs. It belongs to the people who actually pay taxes... you know... the ones who work.

Not to kick a hornets nest... but the whole "hard working people are the salt of the earth and educated people are all egotistical asses who just philosophize the lint in their navel" trope is a bit worn don't you think?? (yes, I know, you're going to use me as an example of an egotistical azz. But guess what, my being an egotistical azz is completely unrelated to whether all educated people are egotistical asses, so I'll stop you right there.)

I mean... sure, you can have a smart person who never got educated and works hard.
But you can also have smart people who got educated and work hard and create many of the important advances of our nation. But you wouldn't want to hang out with them... because they don't "do for themselves".

There are also a lot of uneducated people who simply didn't want to get an education because it was too hard to do back when they were 19. Maybe they work hard now, maybe they do just as much as necessary to keep their supervisors off their back (yes, you know exactly the type of person I'm talking about). There isn't anything special about them, and they may actually be azzholes.

simply put, your stereotype is just as inaccurate as any other, and honestly a crappy way to choose who you want to socialize with.

The key word there is WORK. And the answer is yes... 20 years defending your sorry ass, and another 9 housing the jack-holes who like to victimize the populace. An often dangerous JOB that many don't want to do.

So while I am paid by the government, I actually provide services to earn the money I am paid, and I pay taxes. Next question.

Smarter, more educated, more intellectual is not better. It has it place - that's all. And it is a mistake to grade people's quality by their gray matter qualifications. Some of the worst people who ever lived were smart and educated.....

I am not "better". But I have my place. We need disension and progressive ideas and much as we need conservative values and an honor of history. I can tell you as a career engineer that the ideas are nothing without the skills and talents to build the machines and make them work. My Brother is a machinist. And he has skills and understandings of thing I never will. But don't ask him to explain how a engine coil produces 35,000 volts from 12. But that's ok - he does not design field coils.

Anyway - The government is wasteful. People scam the system. Companies scam the system.
About the money - and I could be wrong - somethings need to be a public trust. Not for profit. Buisness if fine and good, but I don't want to see people getting creative making money off of prisons, education, medicine, road building.
Too many "creative" ways to profit - needs to be municipally run. Yes - socialisum in a small bottle.

And that is my crazy azz liberal 2 cents.

Too much charity becomes enabling and robs the recipient of their self worth. People that contribute nothing have no path to self realization. They tend to loathe themselves and take it out on people like themselves.

I don't think there is any argument there. I know I agree.

But you can't throw out the baby with the bath water. Too much of anything is not good. And charity needs to be applied judiciously - but it is needed. It will always be needed.

I think we both have a problem with the charity systems being cheated or over applied. I think you rage at the bums that leach the system. I rage at the companies that do. And better controls are needed on both fronts.

i guess it depends on the demographic being discussed and who is discussing it

pelosi is showing the typical elitist belittling and demonization most dems show towards their opponents

but i guess sometimes you have to "pass a bill to see whats in it"

she really is a gem
