But I agree that "we as a society" do find some terms more offensive than others.
It's what I stated already.
What I am offering up for discussion is that we shouldn't let the media define the levels of offensiveness. And it is the media. Because there is no reason that any person with a sane mind could ever think that it's worse to be called something based on nationality, religion or skin color, than it is to be called a vile incestuous pervert.
Just as example.


Besides, whatever happened to "sticks and stones"?

The media is a villain but it goes back to if you can predict the reaction than don't complain about it when you do it. Or go ahead and complain but don't expect many to care.
