Ordered a Palio cutter and a box of Raices cigars a month ago. The cutter showed up very dirty with a few substantial burrs on the blades. The cigars were stuck, and looked actually melted to the top of the box. Hoping that they would smoke well after several weeks of resting I found them to be devoid of flavor and basically ruined. After contact cbid on day one they said I could return. I said let's wait a few weeks and see if they come back. Well they didn't and now that I want to return they tell me they must be in their celaphane wrappers. Wow. Most of us don't rest cigars in their wrappers. Now I get no return so be aware. If your cigars come dry as a bone, return. Half of my last $500 order was dry as could be. Now the big question, why must they be in their wrappers.... It's so they can sell them again. Amazing, I'm don't with cbid..... ************ is a much better site and the cigars actually come in quality sealed bags with boveda humis.

Sounds to me like you need to buy/build a better storage container.

Seriously, if they were dry after 3 weeks in your humi, you're doing something very wrong.

Only problem I ever had with a cbid shipment is one time my box got rekt by usps.

And no, not all of us take the celo off:P

so one month ago you placed an order.

It takes several days to arrive.
You waited a "Few weeks" and informed CBid.
You waited an additional "Few weeks" and contacted them again because they still weren't good.

I can see why you're upset.
You've got almost two months of anger built up over a mere months time frame.

Maybe it's just me but if you are returning any type of merchandise to any store -B&M or Internet, the merchandise needs to be in original packaging and re-sale able condition. The only exception would be for something like a mattress with a 90 day comfort guarantee. And these details are usually identified up front as part of the transaction.

Your whining sounds like someone who would try to return the cooked butchers twine to the butcher and demand a refund because the pot roast was too tough. Customer service is a give and take proposition. In this case you had nothing to give, only take. Cut your loss and move along.
Bye-bye.

C-Bid customer service rocks!

At least your order was shipped. They stole my "friend" Sharty's money, never shipped his cigars, banned him from the forums, now won't let him log into his account at all. Shady shady company.

Gargar...........you must know by now that AB cigars need to stored at 50rh..........otherwise they don't burn.
Here cbid goes out of here way to deliver you an AB that burns, and you whine about it?

On the plus side there's about to be another $500 worth of g.s.e. products relisted on Cbid since he decided to contact his credit carrier and have the charge blocked. Happy bidding!

gargar13, you did say from day one, cbid told you that you could make a return. YOU decided not to. After their offer, everything after that was on YOU.

What we have is a brief look at a life where all the bad things that happen just have to be someone else's fault. Truth be know, you are probably one of

the clowns that ran up the bid on a picture of a box of cigars and were upset at cbid when that lone cigar arrived. Not your fault right? I hope you and

slarty have a happy life together. At least you both will have one friend if you are not the same person. We and cigarbid will do well without you.

I've had a couple of issues with my past two orders of cigars and cbids has had great customer service fixing both issues in less than a day. One of the customer services I have ever had.

Lol. I'm surprised I only had one grammar issue. Lack of sleep with with two under two will do that.

Just received my order from cbid. Everything is packaged nice and neat. I left them in the celo, and plan to let them rest for about a month before I smoke any. Everything looks good to me though

So far the only problem I have had with Cbid has been self control.... But everything I have received so far has been fine. Also I leave the cello on. I am not sure why you would take it off if you were thinking of returning them.

Having similar issue with my shipment. Eight full days baking in the 100 degree temps with zero humidification. I am so glad we are buying a product impacted by heat and humidity and CBID feels it necessary to screw us. If we are bidding on items do us all a favor and sent it in 3 days and also with humidity pillow or something to save the product. And for all the blowhards in here who say rest the cigar you know what, I should not have to rest my cigars a month or more and pray they are ok, I am paying for a product and that product is fresh tasty cigars not dry sticks void of flavor. I totally agree with this post, you are held hostage to stupid rules and stupid outdated shipping methods. I can assure you the owner of CI is not smoking this trash, his are nice and fresh as they are supposed to be for all of us.
Nice fail CBID, considering I buy a ton of cigars my money can float elsewhere because your methods stink.

Cheers
