Howdy all. Rain again in SOCAL, so our drought is officially over. Governor Moonbeam has one less thing to worry about so he'll stay after our guns, cigars and internal combustion vehicles and dream up new fees and taxes.

Congrats.

A long pee is a wonderful thing.

Unless you have prostate issues and were just dripping the whole time...

Not to bring down the mood, but it is going to be a rough day. Today marks 5 years since my mother passed away unexpectedly. She was in good health but had a foot surgery that laid her up for a while which caused a pulmonary embolism. She was only 53. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday that we were enjoying Sunday lunch together, sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago. If you have your parents still, cherish every moment with them, you don't know when it will be your last. RIP mom, she you again someday.

Yeah, it sucks. Although I miss my mom, it breaks my heart more that my kids will never know her amazing love. She was one of the most loving, caring people I have ever had in my life.

An inspirational post Hank.

My Mom is 75. She's a tough old brid. She was diagnosed with breast cancer back in August hand a lumpectomy and radiation. Seems to be on the mend now. She's fallen at least a half dozen times in the past year. Back in December she fell. The next day she flew up to Nouthern VA to visit my sister and her family. Was gone about 2 weeks. When she went got back she saw a Dr. He had her X-ray'd. Turns out she had multiple broken ribs. She refuses to move in with us while her flooded home is remodeled. Was gonna get her one of those push button things so at least she can for help when she falls, but she said I'd be wasting money because she won't wear it. I call her a few times a day just to make sure she is isn't lying on the ground. Everytime she falls it takes her a half hour or more to get up.

Is it foggy up where you are MACS? We have, as my youngest daughter said, "Creepy Horror Movie/Video Game Fog" and since she's almost never seen it, freaked out a little bit!

So, pricing rental cars for a week when we fly into Orlando and then drive up to Atlanta a few days later to see the zoo, then fly back from Atlanta to Chicago. One way cars were in the 600 dollar range. Was thinking maybe do without until the day we drive to ATL and just do a one day one way rental.

Well, found Avis was $200 for a week plus the one way drive/drop off. But only on their 15 passenger vans.

We're gonna be riding in style Think
