If a conservative comedian (do they even exist?) held up a decapitated Obama head.

Would that comedian remain employed at a major network?

Griffin is a waste of oxygen, but the pressure should be on anyone who employs her.

CNN announced Wednesday the network will be ending Kathy Griffin's hosting duties for its New Year's Eve program after the comedian's disturbing photo shoot with a bloodied Trump mask.

"CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year's Eve program," the network announced Wednesday on Twitter.

TMZ reported Wednesday the gory photo has allegedly caught the attention of the Secret Service. While the federal law enforcement agency did not directly cite the image in any of its recent tweets, it did respond to Twitter users who reported the shocking picture online:

The Secret Service also issued a warning that may have hinted at the image:

Law enforcement sources told the celebrity gossip site the Secret Service has launched an investigation into “the circumstances surrounding the photo shoot.”

There were no celebrities I know of that mocked Obama in such a way, but I certainly saw plenty of racist propaganda when he was president. Fringe d-bags, for sure... but it was there.
