Obama announced the DACA program on June 15, 2012 in a speech from the White House Rose Garden in which he said his administration was taking steps "to lift the shadow of deportation from these young people."

"Now, let's be clear -- this is not amnesty, this is not immunity. This is not a path to citizenship. It's not a permanent fix. This is a temporary stopgap measure that lets us focus our resources wisely while giving a degree of relief and hope to talented, driven, patriotic young people," he said.

Obama knew very well what he was doing. There is no way these "dreamers" could be allowed to stay and not, one day be given complete amnesty and citizenship.

I really don't have a problem with this in concept but now in many states they are being given other rights such as in-state tuition to colleges that citizens cannot have. The list of their objectives will grow to include family reunification, etc.

Not sure where the line should be drawn on this one.

Ya, I was able to keep my doctor, but I don't qualify for bama care, so I don't think I was affected.

Except for my coverage amount is down, the premium is up and my deductible went up as well.

I didn't elect retiree's heath insurance because it would have cost $1600 a month for the three of us. As a result, we have Obamacare.

I had to switch cardiologist and my pulmonologist. Cindy had to switch her pcp, her ob/gyn and her rheumatologist.

So yeah I'm a little pissed.

I'd be curious to see numbers showing what we paid to cover the previously uncovered who did not have PC's and used emergency rooms for every little thing...but I have heard about emergency rooms and hospitals turning profits the last couple of years.

I really would like to see the real costs of paying for the uninsured vs paying more to help cover the newly covered...teedub, you got any $$$ stats?

Also, recently read that the fear and stories of areas without any exchange choices turned out to be one county of miserably poor people.

There are lots of counties with one or fewer choices.

Lots of reasons, mostly actuary and resource related. It's the curse of private industry.... they have to make a profit or at least break even.

The current admin is also doing quite a bit to make sure there are more. Marketing has been cut by 90% ish. They want it to fail.

WY, MT, AK, ND etc also are starting to have economic issues based on oil industry issues. I assume more states as well, I just have direct experience here. The oil economy is directly effecting health care industry

It's brilliant. Under one admin get the undocumented to come in and register under a promise, then change admins and use the info they gave under the pretense of doing things right the boot. Leaving those that were not doing it right.

It's why I'm totally against gun registration and also why the word of our government is no good foreign or domestically.
