Sometime around early summer, I panicked a little because I didn't know what the tax cuts were doing to me; I raised my deductions considerably....hoping now I get a huge refund....and I cannot wait for the first arrogant, would-be economist to tell me all about how refunds are stupid...rate of return on my loan to the IRS is going to be a lot better than nearly every other one of my 'investments' this year

Pretty bad week!!! Thanks Feds for raising interest rates so rapidly that the working class can't keep up. We don't even get to smell the recovery from the last recession before they throw us into another one.

Well, lets see. The DOW is up about 250% from it's low in 2009. Anybody who stayed in has done pretty well I would say. If you think you can time the market, you may think too highly of yourself.
