I’ve tried tenski for the thousands too. No dice. Ordered a box of nattys from the high place and they called and said they were out

Saved my order and I think they’re supposed to honor coupon and send box when they come in

They are tough to.come buy at tenski for sure, but when they have them, they seem to be the best price by far. Especially if you can land a coupon as well. Just got a 10er each of 2000 M, 3000 M, & LFD Double Ligero 450's, all coming in at $136.

I swear the monkey place sends some customers emails that they don't send others. It's like they have an algorithm, the longer it's been since you bought cigars..the better deals you get sent.

^Now I know I'm right because I haven't bought any cigars from them in 2 weeks and they send me an email today and everything and I mean everything is on sale really low. Even Padron Anniversaries. 10 packs of 1926 Padron Robustos for $130, 1964 Churchills for $140. Why they do this to me?

A lot of the best deals are through their discord server. I stumbled on it.
I get emails all day from them, haven't seen this padron one though.

Not saying they aren't messing with you, but I got that email and they jack my wallet on a very regular basis. I really need to ignore them, but what's the harm in looking.

I might only be able to afford beans to eat, but the humi remains full Angel

Someone should make a list of all the sites and their nicknames at the lifeboat forum. No rules against it there...

It would probably help if you became familiar with the plethora of other online retailers. ‘Course easier said than done since there are so many of them but as you broaden your horizons and smoke a wider variety, your buying circle will naturally grow too. With a greater knowledge of other vendors, you’ll be able to figure out the cryptic “clues” a lot easier.

Or, of course, you can always wait for Stogie20 (…not that 130 guy…) to amalgamate the nickname list and post it on the other site.

But I don't know what the "lifeboat" forum is. You would have to post the clue to that name somewhere else. Then the name of that website could be posted somewhere else ...

I just stumbled on it a couple of days ago. Seems like it's been around for a few years and kind of forgotten about......Except for Jake looking for trades.

There was a time (or two...) this place looked like it was taking a dirt-nap, so that was hastily set up as a refuge for the poor, unwashed masses to come together again. A "just in case"...

And Palama, I would be happy to do it but I am one of those who doesn't even know (or maybe remember) what half the references are!

Just received 2x Warped Corona Samplers (10 sticks total) for 25 bucks total from the Tenski place.

Only bought one, but they shipped two samplers for some reason. I feel like 2.50 a stick for Warped is not half bad

Stopped at a random local B&M. Found some old band camachos I’ve only ever heard about on this forum.

Yellow celli. Appear to have been properly stored. Will smoke tonight and if good going back for more!!

I have to do some research while smoking it tonight (cuz I smoke and nerd out on cigars a lot)…they had about 5 diff boxes with about 2-5 left in each. If it smokes good like it was properly stored I might have to go back and buy them all!

Should look like this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=fwwDZr41iLQ

It will be FIRM, as in almost petrified, fully packed, and will be one of the best maduros you have ever smoked.
Just be sure to get a GOOD initial light, sear the foot ring properly……..and enjoy.

I only have two left………saving to smoke with my son some day soon.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Eiroa CBT Maduro is the same as the Pre-Davidoff triple

Camacho allegedly kept the same “formula” for their triple maduro.
There is a old thread about this somewhere here.
I’ve tried a couple fivers of the newer Camacho Triple maddies years ago.
Decent, but not decent enough to get me to keep buying them.
Pretty sure the vitola size changed a bit as well, not that it matters much

I've also noted that the triple Maddys are not as good as before. Unfortunately I did not date their initial receipt date so I'm somewhat in the dark as to the age of each one, but of the approximate 50 I have none are less than 2 years aged.

Just got some HVC Vieja Cosecha No. 2 for slightly over $4 a stick from the scary place: 5 packs are on the daily creature site for 27.98 till midnight (under the fold BTW), then there's a %25 off on orders 150+. Also got some HVC serie A toro for $4.50 a stick and some My Style is Jalapeno for $6.50 to hit the $150.

Haven't had the MSiJ but it sounds interesting, and have enjoyed the Serie A in the past, so excited to try the Vieja Cosecha.

I just got around to trying the cbt maduro and much prefer the post-Davidoff Triple Maduro.

The cbt was just lacking all around. Strength, flavor, etc.
