Not like Rahmbo or Big Time or Fredo.

Pretty sure most modern Presidents have used frat boy names for their staff.

Drafter, here's how I see it.

You're a team player. More than most. I believed you when you said you'd take a bullet for Frank.

You have to support Donald. Even though the guy actually seems to be testing people's tolerance and gullibility half the time.

Comparing what Hillary or Obama did to Trump is where you lose credibility.
It's everyone's job to critique polititians, objectively, honestly and most importantly, separately.

If you look at presidents from past history, if you're discussing say Jefferson there's not much you're gonna say about Madison, right? If an inherited policy is mentioned, ok, but a scandal from each of their administrations compared to make one seem worse or better? Nope, right?

No one's perfect. *looks around the room
Just saying, while definately funny that you mention Hillary all the time, if you're even half-serious, it makes you appear subjective.

Like I said, just my take on ya. So shattup.

"Trump supporters"

You mean "Americans"?

Because who wouldn't support their sitting President?

Honest question.

Honest answer:

I support the position, the office in what it is "supposed" to stand for. Now, for the guy that got put in that position well.... Not so much. I miss the days of when people that had Honor and portrayed themselves as such being in control vs an egotistical airbag. I have no clue what his true intentions are but I do know this, He portrays himself as an idiot in my opinion. You can be the best man in the world but when you come in the room looking like a moron dressed in an adult SpiderMan suit acting a fool when dealing with some real serious chit, all the while Tweeting about it well, no one will take you serious. I feel he is about as diplomatic as a pregnant yak I feel he is showing the entire world how goofballish the US people can be and honestly its is embarrassing to me. Then again, I find it embarrassing to be part of the male breed when men abuse women. Also embarrassed to be part of the human race when people as a whole seem to be becoming more infatuated with being morons and refuse to educate themselves or to become better human beings and rise above. I feel we are now going backwards vs forwards. The one person that is supposed to represent all of us... Well honestly, I think Elmer Fudd could have done better and would have been a better choice. But such is the way of the world now I guess

To me it's like watching reality tv like Jersey Shore, Jerry Springer, Them midget shows, Teen Mom. Any time my wife watches that stuff I can feel the IQ points just slipping away and that is why typically I stay far far away from politics forums. Now that I have lost 5 more IQ points time to find the fun side forums.

Peace

Think I pretty much agree with ewok. I respect and support the office, but not this president.

To do so would be unpatriotic. If I am convinced, and I am, that he is unfit and taking us haphazardly, in a bad direction, it is my duty as a citizen to speak up against the MAN.

Depends on how you use "support"...

If NK sent a missile and hit Guam, I would support Trump's decision to retaliate.

I didn't support his decision to stop funding Obamacare subsidies, withdraw from the Paris Accord, withdraw from TPP, resume the Keystone Pipeline, defend the white supremacist protesters, roll back environmental protections for clean water and air, brag about the size of whatever, brag about how great he is, constantly tweet falsehoods, make false claims about voting, achievements, political opponents, constant lies and on and on...

Honest question: Obama "sat" during his Presidency...how many in here supported him?

Check out the latest Presidential approval ratings. Approval is one indication of "support"...

http://news.gallup.com/poll/203207/trump-job-approval-weekly.aspx?g_source=link_newsv9&g_campaign=item_201617&g_medium=copy

Seems Trump got off to a decent start, with nearly the same number of Americans approving (45%) of him as disapprove (47%). Only a month or so in, there was a shift, that has been fairly consistent: 40% approve and 55% disapprove...

What I'm seeing are a bunch of people who dislike President Trump, but are afraid to admit that they truly don't support him.
Citing polls isn't answering the question.

Do you support our President?
Or do you not support our President?

I knew liberals were weak willed, but this is pathetic.

I don’t support him as a person, I don’t support much/most of what he says, I don’t support much/most of what he does. If I do agree with what he says or does I’ll say so and have. I do support the office, and suspect I respect it much more than he does. I am hopeful he doesn’t do as much damage as I think he might, and hope the country weathers his presidency and actually thrives. Much like I did under obama whom I never supported but I found less repulsive, and less dangerous.

As for the when did you stop beating your wife question I don’t think it’s a one word answer. It’s not about blind loyalty to a man. Support or no support.

It’s a good try though. You may have answered you supported obama period. I would accept your answer. But many most in here would be lying if they answered that way. I didn’t like bammy. In here the hatred ran so deep that not having bammy derangement syndrome was considered liberal. I don’t like trump. Trump repulses me and frightens me more than obama ever came near to. I simply disagreed with bammy. Trump is an embarrassment.

Take the answer as you will.

Joking or not I don’t support this

Chinese President Xi Jinping recently consolidated power. Trump told the gathering: "He's now president for life. President for life. And he's great." Trump added, "I think it's great. Maybe we'll give that a shot someday."

I think he should respond negatively to Xi’s and Putin’s power grabs and not joke about them (unless it’s extreme sarcasm and clearly so....not a cutsy claim later or his sycophants parsing words to justify the unjustifiable) or wish he could do the same as they did. It took much less from obama for folks in here to seriously claim obama was going to rig a third term. Now crickets. That’s the real trump derangement Stockholm syndrome.

He doesn’t respect the office. I don’t support that lack of respect.

It's plainly a loaded question.
With only one correct answer, namely, "Of course I support the sitting president"

Nuanced answers were rejected offhandedly. Honest and considered answers.

Again. It's yes or no.

So, no. I don't.

New question: if a president is proven guilty of multiple crimes or worse (eg treason)
would YOU support him?

Yes or no?

Better question, if a president tried to play something off as acceptable even though you knew in your heart it was wrong, example, Germany and Jewish holocost, would you be willing to stand against it when no one else would?
