If man induced climate change is so time sensitive and critical that it requires immediate and expensive actions by the US, shouldn't we also consider the use of force against all nations that don't comply?
Because even if America goes bankrupt to appease AOC completely, the earth itself won't care if (when) India and China continue down the road to ruin.
So we must convince them to abide by our new regulations. And use military force if they don't.
Note: I don't share this opinion (or counter point, or whatever it is). I think our government is over reacting to begin with. Man's impact on our global climate is a small percentage. So small that none of the "consensus" cult can even agree on it.
Doesn't mean we can't do better. We need to be nice to mother nature, I agree. But the fear mongering on climate change is the oldest political ploy in the book. I'd say I'm surprised so many fall for it, but THAT would be disingenuous. And I don't want to upset TW's delicate sensitivities.
Interesting idea, I'm guessing war would come after collapsing the economy, war would be a great distraction. Declaring destroyers of the environment the new boogieman would be an easy sell to AOC supporters.
