Finally made in to where I’m delivering here in ND, felt like it took forever. Been awhile since I’ve been out here what a boring drive.

The biggest frustration I hear from docs dropping out early is the rejection of the expert by so many people, and the healthcare reimbursement system tying customer satisfaction scores to their payment. So now we have to give in to patient's demands or face lower paychecks, and the patients that go to facebook medical school get to make a lot of decisions too. Plus consolidation of providers into larger conglomerates where administrators tell you how many patients to see in a day and incentivize lab and imaging studies over an extra 10 minutes of physical exam and conversation.

It's only going to get worse.

I'm trading in my insurance premiums for WebMD consultation. I looked it up and thought I was just overweight and lazy, but turns out it's terminal

^Yeah... ALL my pants are 36 waist. Ordered some Dickies for the new gig... size 36... a bit snug.

W... T... F? My 36 jeans (levis, wrangler or any other) fit a bit loose. *sigh*

Blame the brand. I'm 36 mostly, but Urban Pipeline jeans from Kohls II'm not only a 34, but need a belt. Makes me feel so svelte

And in other news: CF now weighing in on the noob questions.

"**NEW COLOR PROJECT RELEASE!**
Ginger or Maryanne? Of course, GINGER!"

I still disagree.

are you training the pups to stop eating, Dr. Pavlov?

When we lived-in Texas a guy I worked with lived close to the coast and on the (Texas) Colorado River. He had two bug zappers in his yard. In the morning you could not even see the blue light for the dead mosquitos on those zappers, but there were always plenty more.

They're like coyotes... the more you kill, the more food is available for the others... they get that much stronger, they reproduce that much more...

I believe that, those little bass turds were a PITA where we lived, but we were surrounded by rice fields, swamps and water filled road ditches.

Scanning to see if there is anything worth sniping on the cheap and saw these.

Another one.

https://www.cigarbid.com...-sweets-cigars/3703400/

Not a fan of sweet tips or infused stuff so of no interest but it caught my eye so I'll have to ask again...

WTF?

Bid price looked whacked, I had to them up look myself. The mother ship has these for $41. Classic overbid

Went to the store and got some black Lee pants. Size 36... fit perfect. Dickies run small... unless you're Frankie Tripod... then Dickies run big. Anxious

Schedule for tomorrow starts at 0830-1700. I need the sleep and the gym opens at 0500, so I will get a workout in. Winning.

thanks for the publicity Shawn.

not sure if I'll be able to check in for the next couple of days so either you or X should be ready to approve the new 500...unless shenanigans are suspected.

Of course RAM could step in at any time as his license never expires.

Was happily watching the Cardinals-Padres playoff game with St. Louis up 4-0 and then 6-2 later on...but the roof caved in and they’re now trailing 6-9. Argh!

my dads mom used to watch a baseball game on tv with another on the picture in picture and a third on her radio headset... and she'd nap... and at any point in time you could wake her up and she could instantly tell you the scores of all 3 games... it was impressive...

I don’t have to worry about that, I’m banned from going into Cali. Plus we don’t run out that far west.

The cities of the homelessness, fire 🔥 and smoke 🌫️,"it never rains California", were the earth moves under your feet.

Be thankful you're banned 🍾.

Ate a big bowl of chili... made it with no beans, so that's a plus... still probably shouldn't have eaten it at 10 o'clock at night...

Washing it down with milk and donut holes...

8track... you so sweet. Blushing

It's pretty simple, Robert. Transporting wheelchair bound veterans to and from VA appointments at the VA hospital, VA clinics and contract clinics. New vans... hydraulic lifts and anchor systems I am familiar with... only thing I am really learning is how to do the paperwork and how to operate the tablets and the programs they use on them.

It's nice to have something to do, and it's also cool talking with some of the Vets.

I agree. That's why I registered and trained to be a poll worker. Will you have down time during which you can read or something?
