Still waiting (as are the courts) for something of substance from Team Trump or from you with anything close to the same support upon which to base an opinion.
Another thing you have wrong about me, I have no hate in my heart. These are opinions. Being against a path does not mean I believe in its destruction. I have always encouraged opposing views. I pushed you to stay and talk about your views. But I push back against one sided dogma as an exchange of ideas never really happens with you.
I have posted a number of times over the years what my father taught me:
do not wish to get everything you want, because then you will be on the side of a dictator and half of your fellow countrymen will be oppressed. By definition, there can not be a benevolent dictator as it destroys the basis of democracy and freedom
Why do you feel the need to repeatedly put down democracy and it's adherents?
It makes me go back to when I inferred from your older posts that you were a one-party rule kind of guy. Back then, you shrugged it off by saying the two parties were really one and the same, but since then you have been as staunch an advocate for the GOP as we've ever seen here. Are they that one-party rule you support?
For somebody that doesn't like dictators, you sure voted for the one who talks most like a dictator and has laid out plans most like a dictator. Obama 2.0?
Yes. I "repeatedly put down democracy and it's adherents", I don't worship it like a golden calf, it's not sacred. It's an old timey American thing, this distrust of democracy. That's why there are written constitutions, but they become weak because democracy wants to be stronger. "Every election is a sort of advance auction sale of stolen goods" in its Americanized duopolized democratic form. Two major parties vying for power and plunder. You can't have that without unleashing democracy full strength. Why do you think nothing fundamentally ever changes in structure for the better but the results get worse over time? That makes the duopoly a real thing.
You only think I'm a staunch advocate for the GOP because as a libertarian, the radical left is our natural enemy, but when it comes to socialism, there is plenty to attack on the right also. The right just drives in that direction slower.
You don't look at things in the same perspective, it's not likely seen on TV often, so it all seems puzzling to you. The racket is to divide by design, the "purposeful division created by the rulers among the stupefied masses" as Gary Barnett wrote just the other day here, it's a real libertarian screed, not something you are likely used to:
