We’re going to DEFCON-2. MACS and Delta1 better go buy some new masks.

Amid a new increase in COVID-19 cases, California is reimposing a statewide mask mandate on indoor settings for one month, state officials announced Monday.

The mandate will take effect from Dec. 15 to Jan. 15, 2022, according to Dr. Mark Ghaly, secretary of the state Health & Human Services Agency.

The Dicktatoress of New York imposed a state-wide indoor face diaper mandate starting today. She doesn't follow the science either, she just likes to dictate stupid chit that doesn't work.

They sure are trying to kill the California economy, aren't they. We are being told Omicron is devastation. Yet 1 person in England has died of it and no medical information has been disclosed about that individual. Let's not destroy our country to save the golden fleece. Show us numbers about severity. I am minimally interested in transmission. Severity on the other hand.

California and Nevada are tied for highest unemployment. It is not techies like me unemployed and we are the ones paying all the taxes. We are destroying the lower and middle class government dependents - because we can.

Dicktatoress Hochul said Monday she hopes and expects most local health departments to enforce the mandate.
She hopes because she has no authority to put in place a mask mandate and has no way to enforce it, so she could only admit "We have left it to the counties to enforce."
A number of counties have already told Hochul to go pound sand, that they will not enforce her mask mandate.

A day after health leaders decided to reinstitute a statewide indoor mask mandate for everyone, they shifted course.

California now says any county that had already issued an order allowing vaccinated individuals to go maskless in certain indoor businesses can continue to do so.

Gyms, offices and churches in San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, and Sonoma counties will be allowed to let members continue without face coverings.

I'm all for following science but during this whole COVID thing, the use of science has been bastardized. Politics, money, and ego has been the main drivers, not science. Preliminary conclusions have been been accepted as facts and when new data and evidence that doesn't support the preliminary conclusions come to light, they are squashed or glossed over.

The hysteria, fear, has been cemented in. The "fix" has been implemented even though the fix hasn't fixed much... yet they keep doubling down and are not willing to back up and say... well... we might have over reacted on it. The magic bullet isn't very magic, and all that crap we've been feeding you for the past 18 months... we can't back off on it. The horse is out of the barn so full steam ahead.

Full disclosure we were waking in Mission Beach last summer and some garbage trucks were picking up trash that stank, but still...

Screaming to anyone who can hear him how he's still right and everyone else is still wrong. All that data. Can't ask questions, NO! That's a threat to the blind obedience that the Science requires.

He didn't face anything when he was here. Just kept refuting everything with links to the CDC from different sources.
