Happy Friday fellers. It's a cold 39 here this morning. About as cold as I want to get and only going to 60 ish.

Picked 2 large boxes of lemons yesterday and delivered bags to three neighbors. One box set out front with a FREE sign. Won't last long. Even with leather gloves and long sleeves it is impossible to pick that many lemons without feeling like a pin cushion. Still more on the tree that will last for another month.

I may put Picking Lemons w. DED on my meager bucket list.
In another DED connection this morning, I am drinking coffee out of a mug he gifted me 10;years ago?
Smoking’ Azz Cigars.
Warms my heart- or maybe it is the coffee.

Average highs and lows start climbing at the end of January. As long as there is something to look forward to, you can make it through. Average for early Feb is 28/11, so it has been colder than normal. It will be warmer tomorrow. Estimated in the mid twenties.

66F right now on its way to 86f with 2% rain and an eight mph breeze! To warm for me for this time of year though rain and low temperatures (upper 60's) starting tonight and rain tonight through Sunday. Temperatures no higher than 70 for the next next nine days! Perfect Orlando weather for this time of year. Chamber of commerce day.

Annual dermatology appointment today then it is officially the WEEKEND!

Son continues to studying 8-10 hour/day for the LSAT on 2/12, then he is done with that $hit unless he can't get into a state school vs. a private school, where tuition could be like $15k vs. $50k alone per year, respectfully. However, he'd likely go to one or two private schools which are highly respectable- with the right scholorship package, which he would likely get. We'll see in about2-3 more weeks... Brick wall

Niece is still here and will highly likely stay until she finishes the school year. Wife, son and I are totally OK with that on the same page about everything- without even having to discuss matters. And, more important is that she is feeling much better with a change in her meds and getting away from both her special needs sister and mother's situation with her sister, which are both my nieces major stressors/triggers. Best news of all is that she was accepted to her "safety school," so that stressors is resolving too. Pray

Crappy morning, litterally.

Up until 2AM working, followed by 3 hours of sleep and then:

Littlest had two explosive blowout diapers in a row between 5:30 and 6AM.. Like, poop grenade went off in the onesie pajamas. Luckily the feet of the PJs caught most of the mess.

At the office now giving the espresso machine a workout.

Still dreary as hell outside...
Non stop rain since Wednesday night...
Constant and steady but light with very few breaks at all...
Gotta be over 2-3" and still falling...
Possible light flooding by Sunday.

Rain here until about 8 AM or so - then freezing rain, sleet and finally snow until about 10 PM tonight. Cold and windy tomorrow with a high around 20 and a low of 5. Looks like I'll be staying in the house unless I decide to go get todays and tomorrow's mail from the street box.

Buddy is gettin' a whole lotta work outa this retired guy...

Tells me he's got a palm tree needs to come down. I have a chainsaw... Lucky for us we half ass knew what we were doing and cut the top so it fell the right way. Then we pieced it up, did the same to the rest of the trunk... cut it down piece by piece, then used an axe to chop the stump into nothing.

I need a shower, some PJ's and a recliner, stat! He fed me and then we smoked a cigar and had an old fashioned. Home before momma.

Tank played with his dogs, so he's already fed and sleeping.

Broke even on The Bones. Two drinks. Two more than I should have had. Skipped the Eat food and no alcohol advice. Should have taken it.

We've decided the dog walk will wait until the afternoon.
Our gig event for the day will be an hour round trip to the nearest Chic-Fil-A.
Will gain 2 or 3 degrees will be chickened up.

Oldest granddaughter’s soccer game and then TV shopping later on. Hope we stumble upon a good deal at either Costco or Best Buy (…they’re within shouting distance of each other…).

Dog walk was pleasant. 55 degrees or so and the pupper got to play with one friend on our way out and another on our way back in.

It's currently 62, headed to 73. Perfect.

And speaking of Chik-Fil-A... might make a trip to my local store today, too. Mmmmm... milkshakes.

No Chick-fil-a in Hawaii till middle of the year…BUT…that store will be in Maui. d'oh! The first Oahu location is scheduled to open at the end of the year with two more locations to follow in 2023 / 2024. Ain’t flying to Maui just to try the food so Vegas in October will be the earliest.

High of 19 today,3/4 of an inch of ice with a minor topping of snow. Everything is frozen. Went up to get the mail but the mailbox was frozen over. Very careful on the downhill return trip. DRiveway is a sheet of ice and the trees are sparkling and hanging low with ice. Too cold to start o the driveway and no place essential to go until Monday morning. The two neighbors to the west of me had water in the basement from the rain, but I came out dry. Some roof melt that will freeze and ice things up a bit more. I hope I have enough salt, sand and other crap to get me up the driveway. Two short power outages during the length of the storm. Storm was bad enough to get the Friday night UCONN womens game cancelled. I hope they play the Tennessee womens game scheduled for tomorrow, but both teams are a bit off with injuries to key players.

Hahahahahaha, nah. Not talking

Other than the Main Street Station breakfast buffet, I rarely go to any other buffets. Got too many other places I normally go to when I’m there. The Oyster Bar, M&M Soul Food, Triple 7, Sammy’s LA Pastrami (…gonna try Greenberg’s next trip…), as well as rotating pho and sushi places. So many places, so little stomach space.
