I’ve been busy. Smoked one cigar in November. The whole month….one cigar.

Initial observations:

They run red lights here. Always.

They build roads here. Big roads. Wide roads. Stacked high roads. Roads that can only be dreamed of in California. In California they raise taxes for roads but they don’t build roads.

Galveston is kinda cool. Reminds me of Santa Cruz but with real industry too. (Oil)

I found a butcher that will cut bison ribeyes to order. This pleases me.

Lady Antebellum should not have changed their name.

House appraisal and inspections were yesterday. Inspections flagged a few things and some ticky-tack things.

They still fighting with the Vietnamese refugees or did they run them all out and take back that polluted Galveston Bay?

The book I read was about the golf coast from Galveston down to Corpus Christy mentioning many small crabbing and shrimping areas where the locals fought to drive out the refugee competition and the pollution from the chemical plants.
