DC and maybe a head coach. Steichen may have been the brains of that operation.

Isn’t that considered tampering? Gonz

If so, and they can prove it, the Eagles would be owned some sort of compensation and the offending team fined.

Well, so much for that. Woulda lost my $100 iffin’ I was in LV.

Speaking of which, just throwing it out there again - October Vegas CBid Herf in the embryonic planning stages. Well, to be frank(ie), it’s so early there aren’t any dates just yet but early middle-ish of the month is the probable timeframe.

Well... he ain't safe, but it hasn't happened as yet. How he keeps his job after losing in the playoffs like they have... I dunno.

12 wins, 1 and done. 12 wins, 2 and done. 12 wins, 1 and done... Him and Dak ain't no good.

Big Mike probably still has his job ‘cause Jerry hasn’t, yet, convinced Bill, Pete or Jim to be the 10th head coach of the Cowgirls. Some talking heads have said JJ does not have a history of making knee-jerk decisions but no one is saying that MM’s job is safe either. Nonetheless, I can’t imagine Big Mike being the HC next season.

Once the prettiest girl at the dance (…Harbaugh…) decides to either stay at Michigan or take an NFL job, then I expect Bill to figure out where he wants to go.

I don't think Harbaugh is the "prettiest girl at the dance".

The guy with 8 superbowl rings is the belle of the ball, IMO.

The Hoodie is going to want total control. Coaching, drafts and player selection. Based on he past couple of years...the game has either passed him by or he's losing it step by step. I don't see a lot of teams willing to surrender that to a man that hasn't been to a playoff game for a while.

As for Harbaugh? I would pass on him and go for Vrabel if I owned a team.

Word on the street is McCarthy is staying. Good... they'll continue to suck.

Jerry has billions but doesn't want to pay a coach one year to get lost. lol

Well, okay, mebbe “prettiest” is an overstatement but Harbaugh knows how to win. I may not care for him but respect the fact that he’s won at every place he’s coached at. I still think of the 7 available jobs, more teams are interested in him than Bill. With that being said, I think between JH and BB, both are gonna want more control than most teams are willing to let go so their hiring is not gonna be a slam dunk.

The picture is starting to get clearer. Mebbe not all are etched in stone but…

Big Mike will still be in Dallas. Surprising yet not surprising.

Jim Harbaugh to the LA Chargers…or will Michigan pony up at the last minute?

Bill Belichick in Atlanta - supposedly at the 2nd interview level.

Haven’t heard anything about PCarroll or MVrabel.

Helped Geno Smith have a career year and rejuvenated Baker’s so might be the right guy. In-house promotion of Dan Morgan to GM too.

But it also makes me wonder if Tepper didn’t want somebody like Belicheat / Vrabel / Harbaugh / Carroll to come in and totally change their organization and culture. He still wanted control and not saying they are but also “Yes” men.

I don't think Belichick will land anywhere this season. I think he want's too much control that other teams are not willing to allow. He's been a horrible GM. He's hired two of his kids and a series of other cronies as coaches and that hasn't worked out to well. His assistant coaches that went on to try to be head coaches elsewhere (both NFL and college) have not worked out.

I also think that football has changed and he hasn't adapted or accepted the changes. The past 5 yrs or so are evidence of that - lost in the wildcard game twice and didn't make the playoffs 3 times. 5 straight years of fails.

Time to retire Bill and sail off into the sunset.

Not sure any team is ready to give full control to one man anymore. And BB ain’t ready to start working for a GM.

See if his ego will let him just retire for good….

He was the defensive coordinator in LA.

He’s coached as interim head coach in Atlanta when Dan Quinn was fired, he was also the head coach of Tampa Bay 2009-11.

Ego won’t let him retire.

He wants the all-time wins record. Probably take him at least 2 seasons to get it. Iffin’ he wants the record for all-time regular season wins, might take him 4 seasons to reach that goal.

I also think Bill might be on the outside looking in next season. Vacancies are filling up quickly and with Vrabel, Carroll and the playoff hotshots still out there, there may not be any room at the inn. Bill’s not gonna like sleeping out in the stable with a manger for a bed. Gonz

Morris, 47, spent the past three seasons as the Los Angeles Rams' defensive coordinator, winning a Super Bowl in 2021.

This will be his second stint as a full-time NFL head coach, having previously led Tampa Bay from 2009 to '11, going 17-31 over the three seasons.
