My very first cigar event was a RoMa Craft smoker in 2013. Skip Martin was there that night even though he was, reportedly, sick as a dog earlier in the day. No details so dunno what was ailing him. Nonetheless, he seemed like a cool guy and one of my buddies, HOnizuka won a box of CroMagnon Venus’. Homer gave one to each of us at our table. It’s a rather big boy, 6.50 x 56, so I have yet to smoke it.
Anyway, meant to say that when the brand was newer and with a lot less blends, imho, the Intemperance line was the best they had. While I’mma still a fan of the Envy BA XXI and its Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper, I like the CroMagnon Aquitaine the most. Iffin’ you let the Whiskey Rebellion cigars sit for 2 to 3 years, you’ll be rewarded with a very good smoke. Of course, ymmv.
