Even in this smaller offering this will knock the piss out of you if you not ready.

Lol, the dl660 maduro is in my regular rotation. My tasters must be burned out...

Jeebs, I am sad to hear about the JdN Antano. I smoke a metric ton of those in years past and always enjoyed them.

Regarding the Camacho 3x maduro, that is one of my regular smokes, but you are right, I always let them rest for at least a few months. I have heard they are no as good as the original (pre Davidoff). The only way to get back to the OR is to smoke an Eiroa CBT maduro.

80257 Eiroa CBT maduro.

82061: Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Vibrato (Toro) (6.0"x54)
Cigar smells mostly of barnyard w/hint of fresh hay. Foot smells like barnyard and cocoa. Nic puro w/dark oily wrapper, flawless BP w/small veins, invisible seems. Deep V cut, sweet tobacco and cocoa cold draw. Peppery kickoff then mellow w/o any flavor break out until final third where molasses and floral flavors show up in small amounts. Tiny bit bitter now. This particular cigar was not as good as I expected based on previous experience which goes to show me that allowing more time to rest (more than the month this one has) truly does matter.

82064: Fuente Hemingway Signature 6 x 46. I’ve had this cigar since 4 March from the small place.
Earthy and fresh hay on the tube w/a touch of floral and cocoa, maybe, at the foot. Camaroon wrapper w/significant variation in color from foot to cap. A couple large veins, slightly raised seem in first third, very sloppy cap job, thumbnail sized piece of wrapper came off with the large band. Cold draw draw semi-sweet tobacco. Kickoff black pepper and ashy. 2” in the ashy taste finally subsides. Fairly generic cigarette tasting tobacco with the black pepper constant the entire burn. Last 2”, using the patented Tele-nubber I did catch a tiny hint of minerals and gingerbread. Usually I don’t review a cigar when it’s my first time smoking that blend but I thought I would this time because I’ve been really hyped on the Hemingway. Because I’ve had only one I won’t pass judgment other than to say I hope the other Fuente’s I have are a better smoke than this first one.

I've been on a deep Warped kick lately.

Keep an eye out on tenski, they just ran a Warped sale with some really killer pricing. I wish the fiver/tenski prices translated into box prices on the sales. I really wanted to buy boxes but the boxes were $1-2per more than buying packs. In the end I still get 20 cigars, they're just harder to find once they go into my bulk singles case than if they were in boxes.

And jeebling has PM'd me coupon codes for the small place that got me some sky moon and moon garden.

Here’s another until Tuesday midnight at small place. Different blend.

Warped Upper Realm 2022 is on sale for 40% off!

601 Blue Maduro BP Robusto 5.2 x 52, $15 fiver on CB March ‘24
Beautiful dark shiny BL Connie, excellent seems / cap, barnyard scent, chewing tobacco cold draw. Deep V cut. Big pepper kickoff, sweet, retro burns then mellow after a few draws. Generous draw, voluminous smoke, first third has BL sweetness, black pepper, flavor of jalapeno in deep background but not the heat and slightly nutty in retro. Nice spice touching tongue to cap tobacco. Beginning of 2nd third transition wonderful lush Granny Smith Apple tartness. Lemony and baking spices in small amounts. Red fruit leather deep background. A lot going on in the zesty department. Smidgen of dank loam / patchoulis out of nowhere and zesty berry sweetness fading quickly. Finishing 2nd third vegemite creeps in. BBQ. Raisin. These in small doses then molasses until the nub. Cigar gets pretty warm here at the end. Smoke time hour fifteen. Great cigar at this price.

80257 Eiroa CBT maduro.

Having now smoked the Eiroa CBT maduro and (many) Camacho Triple Maduros (Davidoff), I can honestly say that my donkey-palate prefers the Camacho. The Eiroa CBT was much more mild in flavor and and strength than the current Camacho.

The band took an enormous chunk of wrapper and damaged the binder a bit. Mostly smoked ok up ‘till the band. Creamy lemony white pepper all the way. Disappointed about the glue from the band. Ruined the final third for me.

I was looking for a mindless cigar just to occupy my hands riding in a tractor jeebs it was perfect for that specific application Thought the final third was kinda not very good but for what it is I liked it just fine.

Not sure what these cost but there’s some bundle cigars I like better

Back in the saddle...

82086 -- Warped Chinchalle...nice cigar to ease back into the routine
82087 -- Crowned Heads Mil Dias...this one was also afflicted with the thin and brittle wrapper, as have most from this box...bummer having to nurse a cigar, cuz it's got good flavors...

^Welcome back, Delta!

82088: Caldwell Estern Standard Robusto
Delicious Habano wrapper, hat a malty chocolate background taste and a bit sweet. Toasty and mild pepper retro. Unfortunately this cigar burned canoe all the way into final third and then the lag side went to hard charcoal and unsmokable. I had to touch up the whole way. Another couple weeks laid down properly would have evened that burn out I betcha.

82092 - AB Texas lancero because someone bought this for their pool tournament buy-in to be an azzhat. A Texas "lancero" is a 70 or 80 ring.
Why do they even make cigars this big? It's unnatural smoking it. It's also very bland. Im just now getting a small bit of flavor a fifth of the way in which is about 30 minutes of smoking time.

I like the Chillin Moose. Wasn't a fan of the Bull Moose, though I only had one and it was a big mamma jamma. I'll have to revist at some point. The Chillin Moose is a pretty good every day stick
