Wow. Thanks. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. That is a lot to absorb, but I'll manage.

Great write up for someone that is just getting into cigars and for someone that is just starting to use CB.
When I started out I tried a lot of SAMPLERS to see what I liked.
Found out a lot of what you covered by trial and error.

No kiddin' about having to be patient about letting a new humi/cooli get up up speed. I have a coolerdor thats slooooowly getting there but even with 2 jars of gel and occasional misting it's taking its sweet time (yep, I calibrated my cheapo hygrometer)

Great intro. Needs a bump, though. Answered a bunch of questions this newb nearly posted.
Popped in last week and immediately got hooked. Wife is bound to try to fix that as soon as next credit card statement arrives.
Must admit I was a little hestitant...what with all the talk about poodles, donkeys and puppies.

Curious...where do the sticks come from? I mean, the basic business plan? Buy wholesale and hope to profit from overbidders? I'm not complaining, by any menas, because I stumbled into what I thought were a few fantastic deals right out of the gate. How do these guys make their $$?
Also, what kind of shape are the cigars when you receive them? (Haven't received my first shipment yet.) Do they need a to sit in the humi for a month, or are they good to go in a week? I assume that a company that sells and cares about good cigars is taking care of them, but what's the normal experience?
