I'm onboard. Been smoking cigars for about 5 yrs. Know what I like and hope to pay less than retail sale prices. I'll give it a couple of months and see how it pans out.

Thanks Ram

Thank you for the info on seasoning a humidor. The ano hygrometers are not the most accurate equipment and are suggested to be changes out for digital. Why are the humidors sold not supplied with digital from the start.

"Why are the humidors sold not supplied with digital from the start."[?]

For the same reason as Microsoft supplies buggy products "from the start."

Noobie here.
38 yr. cigarette smoker.
Had to quit for health reasons.
Figure, not matter what the Doc says, that a cigar or two now and then has got to be better that three to four packs of smokes per day.
Have ordered a bunch of samplers and five packs trying to find something I like.
Is there really a diference between a pineapple White Owl and a $10.00 cigar sold here?

Been smoking a good selection from here and can't really tell any diference.
Does it take a while to develop a palate or maybe my taste buds are ruined from 30+ years of smoking menthols.

I am not sure what 30 years of smoking cigarettes would do to your taste buds. Also everyone's tastes can very quite a bit. I really started smoking cigars 13 years ago when my first child was born. I had smoked cigarettes in the past but had quit about 18 years ago. Also I had had a few cigars over the years but very cheap ones. Anyhow with the birth of my first I bought a box of cheapos to hand out and at the same time bought 6 Arturo Fuente's to smoke with relative's and very close friend's. Well after smoking the better brand's I could never go back to the very cheap one's again. The other thing about smoking better cigars is the complexities and varying tastes you get even within the one cigar you are smoking between lighting it and nubbing it. Just about the only thing you get from the ultra cheapos is harsh smoke from start to finish imho. But that is kinda like smoking a cigarette again imho. Now since I didn't pick up cigars right after smoking cigs (I waited about 5 years) maybe that is why I could tell a difference. Dunno bout that. And maybe with time you'll tell the difference as well.
