Picked up a bundle of 25 of these here for an excellent price. I tried these when they first came out and found them harsh. I lit up one OTT last night not expecting much. I was really suprised. Dark, sungrown wrapper, full-bodied with some kick, but without the previous harshness. The draw was a little too tight. I suspect some drybox time would take care of that. Overall a very pleasant suprise. At the price you can get these here, I'd recommend that the other "Los Cheapos" give these a try.

I just picked up a box of the robustos for $31 here at CBID. Lately I've come to appreciate sungrowns so I took the chance. Other Perdomo products are outstanding, maybe this one is too.

I am with you on this cigar, as well as the robusto in the same line. Super cheap here and can be pretty tasty. Stiff flavors and decent nicotine kick. 6mos. in the humidor makes a big difference too...and, as you noted, smoking a bit on the dry side.
