Just now nubbin' one these in a petit corona size after a steak and shrimp dinner. Tasty little smoke. I may have to pick up a few for aging.

Indeed Barry; they are good but they are better (as with most smokes) with some age. Had Padron 2000 the other night with some nice age on it and man was it nice. I think I'll grab one of the La Aroma churchills...

I've had some of the LADC's but I'm not sure if they were madies or not. The ones I had were spectacular. I would like a box. Fathers day is coming up isn't it?

Wait I didn't read that right. You did say maduro. I didn't know they had more than the one type they came out with just recently. Did the maduro just come out? I did a box split with jdrabinski a month ago and they didn't distinguish between a natural and maduro. I'll have to look for it.

They don't come in maduro, but they have dark wrappers...

jd1, I still have that churhill that you sent me, sleeping quietly.
When I picked up the LADC yeaterday I just assumed it was maduro. I didn't look at the box. It was a corona as dark as any maduro I've ever seen. It was every bit as dark as the Padron Delicias Maduro I'm having this AM. The box of coronas was right next to the churchills and the color difference between the 2 was extreme. I've had that happen with Padrons before also. I've seen "naturals" that were as dark as most maduros. If you see some that dark, buy them, it was a tastey little treat.

I've been looking for these babies. Haven't found them locally, yet. The box art and the bands are very cool though.

Absolutely BMW. I know what you mean. I've seen differences like that with VSGs and Opus as well. The last VSGs that came in; the torps were almost black while the others were much lighter and in this last Opus shipment, the thin skinny panatelas were very very dark. I agree with picking those over the others. I had one of those LADCs last night; they really burn a long time and as always good to da nub.
