gulton,

I tried a Camacho SLR Robusto tonight. The jury is still out. I'll let the other rest for a month or so and try it again.

weeee! If you're up for two at a time, I strongly recommend and ERDM Robusto Large and a HDNA 1970. Great stuff! It's like two porn stars fighting over your taste buds!!

Had a Padron 5k maddie with almost two years age tonight, damn that was good, amazing how much cedar flavor it picked up over time!! Gonna have to buy another box of those!! I was going to have one of the Camacho Liberty's as well but I decided to wait.

That's interesting Barry. I thought the Camacho SLR toros I've had were very complex and flavorful. But I also know each has their own preference. I can only imaging that these will be mo excellent with time. I've got a few left but planning on a box later this Summer when I've got more room. I think the blend is spot on and the wrapper choice perfect for this cigar; giving it more body and flavors than the standard Camacho line yet allowing it a distinction in and of itself different from the Diploma/11-18/Liberty. Definitely revisit in a while and see what it does for you.

cwil; gotta love those 3K/5K maddies; The best price other than Cbid is that "other auction site" at $95/box. Don't remember which Liberty I sent you but you'll find it similar to the Diploma/11-18 but with a little more complexity and that characteristic "Havana twang" usually only found in primo well aged ISOMs.

jd1 - it looks like a toro, and it's so gorgeous I'm trying to justify smoking it... They smell like habanos, simply incredible!!! I want to be able to afford one of the boxes of 50!!

jd1, I certainly got the impression that a little time will help. It was a new arrival at my shop and was a litte on the moist side. I'll let the other acclimate for a while and give it another try.

cw, a 2 yr. old Padron eh? I've been lucky a few times and found some old forgotten Ambassadors and Churchills with a few yrs. on them. It was almost sad to smoke the last of them. I can't sit on Padrons long enough to age them. On second thought, maybe it's just that I can't afford to buy enough to sit on.

gulton,
your JdNA was 180 years older than the ones I've tried. Do they they better with age?

Mine is only about 2 months old. I'm sure they'll get better with age.
