Has anyone tried these and liked them? I purchased a bundle and could not get past the first 5 puffs. I gave several away and no one has been able to smoke more than half of one.

Let them age and they're not that bad. They are definitely not for the mild-medium smokers though...

What Cwillhelmi said. I got a bundle of the Belicosos. I didn't try one for about 6 mos and they were a decent cigar. Especially when price is considered. X

One additional thing, with most bundles you will not be getting well aged smokes(unless it's a closeout), so aging is crucial to determine whether or not it's a good smoke.

I'm one of the people to whom he gave a couple. I've tried 3 so far, and each one got thrown out after about 5 minutes. I don't even know how to describe them, other than putrid. I have one more in my box, and can't decide whether to try smoking it or just throw it away.

Cigar smoking is supposed to be a pleasurable experience ... that is why most of us picked up the hobby (habit) ... right?

A cigars is meant to be something relax with, and to help sooth out life's daily strifes. There are people I know that will put down even the finest cigar after it's half way through ... because after that point, it no longer becomes a pleasure for them.

If a particular cigar doesn't do that for you ... by all means, throw it out!

Life's too short to smoke a bad cigar ...

But my Mom told me never to waste ...

I remember detecting a hint of cat urine on each of the Cuban Originals I've had thus far.

I don't even want to know when you've tasted cat urine in order to be able to identify it... ;-)

Never tried them (and probably won't). But anytime I try new cigars and they hit me too rough/harsh/etc. I do like X said and give them a long rest. I usually buy 2-5 at a time, smoke one or two then store the remainder (even the ones I like) for extra aging.
Also turbo if you or tonester own a cat.....
