I have a friend whose birthday is coming up and I would like your recommendations on a high-end premium cigar to buy for him. Say between $10-$20/stick.

Arrow,

I would have sent them to you, but I didn't see your name on the birthday list.

How about a PAM or PAN, OPUS of some sort, Ashton VSG, Ashton Aged Maduro, Dunhill, Diamond Crown, etc..

The only one of these that I've ever tried was the Ashton Aged Maduro and they are very good cigars! They aren't in the $15-$20 range, but are dang good cigars.

In the mild-medium strength with a great rich flavor profile (which is usually safe as a gift, if you don't know they prefer stout stuff) I can recommend Dunhill Altamiras (Tubo ready to smoke) or the Dunhill Esplendido (individual coffins). Excellent cigars.
You can quote me on that - BUD.
