Well said John.I have a couple of veterans in the family that are now gone and the family will be at the ceremonies at their graves tomorrow.Time to remember those living and dead for the sacrifices they made for us to keep our freedoms.
Happy Memorial Day and god bless all Americans!
Eric

Spent the afternoon at my local, Watsonville Air Show w/my family. Saw some Mustangs, a B-17 and B-24 and the U.S Marine Harriers. Pretty Awesome. My 5yr. old niece was pretty stoked. Now it's off to BBQ dinner at the Grandfather-in-law's (U.S Navy Boatswain's Mate, 1940-1945, that's right, when Hitler invaded Denmark and Norway, his parents and elder neighbors knew we were going to war so he signed up). God bless him, and all who have and continue to serve to preserve our freedom.

Spent the afternoon floating on the water. They had a nice Memorial Day service on our flight deck today for the Marines that were lost from our MEB during Iraqi Freedom.

"Some gave all" - they did it for love of their country and people. They still do it today.
