Perhaps only the 20 & 30 somethings will know what this is, but a Diaper Genie is a device where you put your kids dirty diapers into it and twist the top. This produces a long, sausage-like chain of filled diapers. Why do I mention this, you ask? Well, for years I assumed that this baby **** filled non cullinary delight was nothing more than landfill fodder. It seems, however, that Tamboril has harnessed this treat and put sumatra wrappers around the individual morsels. They then sell them to unsuspecting consumers. My real question is this: Has Tamboril ever had a repeat customer?

I think the Cordova is a Tamboril. I enjoy those. And I can smoke the red and white labeled Tamboril. I started to smoke the Fore and had to put it out after a minute. I decided to disect and and found......CHOPPED TOBACCY!!!!

I want to thank you for the explanation of why ANY Tamboril product tastes so badly and smell so badly. My wife complained when I smoked them on the patio. My smoking room is the largest I know of---the back yard or front yard, golf course, etc..anywhere but in the house!

LOL...I remember the diaper genie all to well. Great invention but I never thought of that use. I purchased a bundle of Tamborils last year for $19, smoked 2 (or at least attempted to) and the rest are doing an excellent job in my compost pile. They were poor in every aspect, construction, draw, consistancy, taste, burn..etc. Will not purchase or smoke again.

Hey Bill...I thought you said you hated the Cordovas...I only enjoy the Cordovas (Made by Tamboril..or at least WAS made by them) also...A good smoke for the price

I guess this is a classic example of a good company cutting corners to survive. I bought a box of the WHITE label from JR's about two years ago and LOVED them. They had just gone on sale. I still have a couple left. But I've had the red labels and don't like them at all. I guess quality is often the first thing to go when the bottom line starts to suffer.

personally, i've never tried a tamboril nor do i have access to a genie magic, so thankfully i won't be smoking either anytime soon

Having used a genie magic in the past I must agree. I do however think that the feces inside the Genie packs probably leaves a better taste in your mouth
