Hey guys

This looks like a good deal if the three smokes in question are good.

Here is the list of smokes in the deal.

-CAO L'Anniversaire Cameroon
-Carlos Torano Exodus 1959
-Cu-Avana
-Industrial Press by Drew Estate
-La Perla Habana Black Pearl
-Nat Sherman
-Perdomo 2 Maduro
-Trilogy Native Cameroon

I've never had the Nat Sherman, Industrial Press, and the Cu-Avana. Any of you tried these three brands?

The sampler is a special, $19.95 in CI's catalog I just got. Its also on auction right now, in the $15-$17 range.

Any comments on these 3 smokes, I've tried the others, and they are good ones. Thanks

The only one I can say is the Industrial Press. I stock several of them in the sun grown and they are great. They have a very clean taste so wouldn't appeal to anyone after alot of spice, but a really good cigar.. IMHO.

Mag - Nat Sherman is a mild sweet tasting cigar. Good Construction and reliable. Good Burn! Would not buy a box of em but a few every now and again is okay.

Just My 2 Cents!

I like all these cigars. Good morning, noon and evening selection. Nat Sherman and Cu-avana are both nice with the morning coffee and newspaper. Gonz did a write up of both on the CI retail site. Plus the price is hard to beat.

I think you'll like the I.P. I've had a few sitting back in the humidor and take one out to smoke from time to time. They are a stronger but basic tasting cigar. Good tobacco, good construction, good draw and burn. I don't know anything about the other two though.

Bud, I'm not sure what exactly you mean about the price. I think its an excellent price. The retail price is $44.95.

That is very good as long as they are all decent smokes. I usually buy 5-packs. I like this type of sampler, because of the variety. ;>)

Mag;
Like I said may be improper. My pockets are not very "deep" and I have a world of patience. Cbid is a perfect arena for me. I have won bids on most all those mentioned for a cummulative average that was a little less. But, with the way prices swing on the site (and I have not been bidding lately) that could be a great price. I withdraw my impetuous statement.

Eight cigars for 16$. Most of which sell all day at 3$. If you get a clinker, pretend it was a free extra, and you're still ahead of the game. I've got a number of gars I wanted to try but didn't want to fight for the five pack. What's funny is I pretty much always get a substitution, but the substitute gar has always been another I wanted to try, so it's been win-win. I like the samplers.

Cu-Avana is sort of a "fall back smoke" for me. They are ok and I will smoke one in the A.M., when I'm not sure I'm going to be able to finish a cigar, when I'm working or don't have the time for a more premium cigar. I would not pick them for a special occasion, after a heavy meal, when I have time while reading, on the computer, etc. IMHO, if you haven't tried one, an excellent way to be introduced would be as part of a sampler or special.
