If you are in the Indianapolis area try, Carmacks in Noblesville, north side of square, ask for Jeff. There is also a smoke shop on the northeast side of Indy. 75th St and Shadeland. Drop me an email if you need more info.

I live in Indy. Just moved here from Miami. Don't really know my around yet. I do know Greenwood pretty well though because of family. I have been in a place down by the mall. Wasn't bad, just used to the bigger one's in Miami. Good selection.

Wow, that sounds much nicer than the one I go to in Noblesville. It only have a big screen t.v. with some leather furniture. How's the selection/prices?

BK, I think you may be referring the the Padron 1926. Great smoke, but pricy. The 2 smoke shops that I mentioned before does carry Padron and they do have the 1926 in stock.

I think the one on Shadeland and the one in Avon have the best selection. Haven't had a chance to visit either in more than a month. Been working so much. So there are at least three of us from Indiana? Why haven't we had a Herf then?

BTW, I just made my first trip to Nicky Blanes. It is a cigar bar downtown indy. I highly recommend this place. Take your own cigars.

A herf sounds good. When and where?

It sounds like we are all from different areas. I live in Noblesville, but I'll travel to any smoke shop within reason.

I was just up at my local smoke shop in Noblesville, and they said that they have no problem with a little herf. If anyone is interested, I will be up there next sunday 6/8/03. They open at noon and close around 4.

I live towards Greenwood. I have been to Nicky Blaines before. That place is great. Nice cozy seats, nice jazz, lights turned down low, great Martini's, but the prices of the gars....geesh, too high. Make sure your dressed to kill in that place. I guess alot of high-rollers go there. I'll have to make a visit probably this weekend.......xo

Herf sounds great!! When and where?

Last weekend I found a nice small cigar lounge called Daddy Jack's. They have a cigar bar in the back. Located on 96th and Meridian. It is more laid back than Nicky Blaine's.

Evenings and sundays work for me also. I looked up the hours for Daddys Jacks and it looks like they are closed on Sundays. How's a weeknight look for everyone? Does anyone else know of a good location?

I think announcing it in the misc board is a good idea. Let's shoot for next tuesday between 6:00-6:30. Let me know if anyone is looking for a certain cigar that they haven't tried. If so, I'll bring it. Please let us know if there is a better time for other people.
I didn't even think about the age...is everyone over 21?

Thank you to you guys for helping me out here in Indiana, but I have some news. I just got my job transfer to go to Atlanta, so I will be moving this coming up weekend. I am in graphic design and they want me to move right away. So, I am sorry that we won't be able to meet at any of the places here in Indiana. Talk to you soon and have fun.

I like the Brookwood Grill on the north side (Roswell). Good piano bar, cigar friendly, and the entertainer is phenomenal. In fact he posts here sometimes, his handle is Groucho.
