I am in the market for a cutter and a lighter. I want to get a colibri and I don't know much about cutters. Thanks

Cutter --- Palio or Swiss Army Knife. Xikar's are nice futuristic looking cutters ... but awkward and uncomfortable to use without extensive practice.

Lighter's --- too much varying opinion, and ton's of debate exists on these forums (try a search). My advise is get the good deals on the 'Lucky Torch' (Blazzer knock-off), the Ascot lighter (mine has worked well for a couple of years now), or any of the 'I don't care if it doesn't work after awhile, or if I lose it' throw away torch (jet flame) lighters.

as far as cutters go you can't go wrong with a
davidoff guillotine{sp.?}. it has a lifetime
warrantee on the blades. i have already taken
mine in and it was replaced with no questions
asked. as for lighters there are too many to
choose from. just find one that will be small
enough for you to carry, or large enough that
you don't lose it.

lots of luck in your hunting. that's half the fun.
