I was doing a little yard work yesterday, reached into one of of my "yard smokes" humi's and pulled out a Flor de Oliva Grand Maduro Torpedo.

This is one fine smoke! Wonderfull clouds of full flavored smoke, with a nice finish. I am moving it up into my daily rotation and give them a hearty recommendation.

I may be the last snook to find these, but with everyone buying up the new line of "O's", look to these as a quality alternative.

Just a humble opinion.

PT ;-)

When I first got these,my first thought was, what a beautiful cigar. I fired one up and was disapointed by the lack of flavor. I put them away and about a year later I tried one again. What a difference, tons of flavor and smoke. X

THL... I hear ya! A positive comment on a cigar usually drives up the bidding. But that is usually only for a few days. Search for this stick in a few days and bargins can be had.

To paraphrase a learned colleague on this site...
"The secret of winning bids here at CBid is patience"

G'luck.

As long as you can still win enough to make the shipping worth while. A single 5-pack @$3.95 is suddenly not such a good deal.

there is a flor de oliva maduro which is bundled and an oliva grand maduro which comes in a box. im guessing these are the bundles? oliva bundles are all very very good.

You might try a one on one comparison between these and a Padron churchill maduro or 4000. I think the flavor profiles are similar with the Padron being just a bit richer. But the light draw on the Oliva is something I really like and the box of Flor de Oliva I bought 8 months ago has aged nicely. I've heard some refer to this brand as a poor-man's Padron. After my comparison, I found Padron to be better but not by that much
