I guess the political board is the closest fit here.... What do you guys think of Bobby Knight coming to my neighborhood? Many months back, there was discussion here when he was first booted from Indiana. At that time, I argued against him, saying he didn't belong in coaching. (Hey puffer, ya still out there?) I still say I'd punch him if he hurt my kid. But, I hope he makes all us critics eat our words. Hey, now he's in my town, I gotta think positive here. He's said all the right things in front of the camera. Maybe he's got his temper under control. There's no doubting he's one of the best. What do you think? Go Tx Tech Red Raiders!

I live in Indiana And I am originally from Texas. I do think Coach will do a great job at TT. Don't believe everything you hear from the media. He did some stupid things when he was here,but its kind of like having children misbehave. If the administration at IU would have had the balls to suspend him after his 1st incident many years ago it would have never reached this point. I wish you and coach well just don't allow him to become bigger than the university.

CL I'm here! happy to see you are keeping your mind open about Bobby Knight.i was thinking the great thing about America is that we have choices, which makes discrmination based on anything other than merit either impossible or so economically punishing that those who discriminate will be thinned out by the market. when immigrants came here and couldn't get jobs, "irish need not apply" etc. those that would hire them got good employees cheap and had an economic advantage over those that discriminated. my point? IU's dumb move in driving away a basketball legend was done out of weakness and political pressure not based on merit. IU will suffer and another smart and hungry organization benefits. ain't this country great!

look at knight's eyes. as best you can on tv. fighters always watch their oponents eyes, it tells them what's coming. knight is a pot waiting to boil over.
