A few weeks ago several guys showed interest in taking the governor out of their Colibri lighters that didn't work.

Has anyone tried it yet? Any luck?

nope Cbid sent me a new lighter. And they did it prior to receiving my faulty one and included the FedEx label.

Disected mine apart as instructed...

Left on table and went outside to water the plants and yard...

An hour later when i walked back in the house, found out that my soon to be 2 year old daughter was as intrigued by all the parts as i was...but she put some in the trash...some in the toilet...and some i just can't find...

Long story...short...

No enough parts to finish this experiment...

RasDas.........LOL, this sounds like a story which could originate at my place. Except the culprit would be my 8-year old son and he would most likely be the party wielding the screw driver doing the disassembly.

I have a non-Colibri lighter which I have a suspicion uses the same basis internal mechanism and tank which I am going to experiment on. Will post after this weekend maybe.
