Got another book in today's shipment!!! Yeaaaahhh.

Situations of recent probably had a small influence but that's O.K. They've missed quite a few for me too this year but I don't often use 'em.

I hope to God Robby gets his.

Sorry Low,

I know that there are those less fortunate than myself. I will try to contain my enthusiasm in the future.

Should I send some more "custom" matches your way?

I had never gotten any matches till my last shipment. Ironically this is the only box I ever received from UPS that was crunched. All the cigars were fine, but the match box got smooshed. Ah well... at least I got 'em.

Odd you should mention that. Got a shipment in yesterday via UPS, it too was sqwooshed. Funny thing is, they beat the time it normally takes to get a package to me by 2 days!

(The matches came through unscathed).

Matches situation getting out of hand. Got to do something with them. Cluttering up whole apartment. Figure maybe on Fourth of July I'll start lighting them by the box just to reduce my inventory. Don't really comprehend what Robby was talking about.....!

ok, I'm waiting for my next shipment. They're scheduled to arrive Tuesday (assuming they shipped today which they usually do).

If they do arrive (with matches, who gives a damn about the cigars!), then I'll cool down, post pics, do a sack dance, probably take the rest of the week off, get drunk, i.e., life is good, new baby, young wife, 6 figure income, etc...

If not, I'm afraid I can't be responsible for the consequences... I mean, I've raised the issues, asked politely, ordered repeatedly, waited patiently, etc...

I've suffered parody, satire, and down right abuse. I actually went to the drug store and asked if they had any gun metal mouth wash! (you know, so I could get used to the taste?) they were sold out!!! How depressing...

So I can only hope that next week will be my LUCKY week! (holding my right hand on my forehead with my index finger and thumb in the shape of an L for LUCKY!!)

I feel like a young girl waiting for her cotillion! Like a fresh ripe strawberry waiting to be picked!! It's either going to be the happiest day of my life, or I'll do my best Jack Nicholson, chopping my way through the front door with my mattock on my way back from the mail box (here's Johnny! YOU WANT THE TRUTH!!?? YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!??)

Wish me luck! :-) :-/ :-( :-]

EUREKA!!!! Was having a glass of Irish whisky (Bushmill's) with an Ashton VSG last night. Wanted to turn the air conditioning up so I could have a small fire while listening to Boots Randolph (greatest sax player of all time), when I realized I didn't have any wood this time of year. Idea! I was able to use 120-130 boxes of those matches Cbid is always sending instead of regular firewood. Killed two birds with one stone; was able to "set the mood," AND reduce my matches inventory, slightly. Providing this info so that you other folks that have so many you don't know what to do with could follow suit, if you want....

Thanks CBID...I recently won a "Stainless Thermos" and then forgot to get some more bids on the same order, to save on the overall shipping costs. Anyway just got the thermos today and LO and BEHOLD there was a box of MATCHES in with it...69

Sorry Robbie

Hell Robby...after over 1500.00 in "winning bids", I'm still waiting on 1 pack of matches! Heck, they should send somebody over to light these things for me! ;)
