New personal weight-lifting mile stone:
15 reps with 225 lbs. (very good form)!

.......btw, that's seated barbell military press!
(Best combine lift (bench press) is 36 reps)

Listen, I need to do something fairly healthy besides worship the leaf!

Very good, well done. Before I separated both sholders I used to work out quite a bit. I liked doing dips and pullups and pushups better than the free weights though.

what's a rep. is it someone that represents a company.

eleltea. do you work alone on your pushups, or do you have someone looking up and counting for you.

Pretty damn good Sonny! I can military press 150lbs 8-10 times(75lb dumbells). I can Bench 225 8-10 times, But, I'm little & an older guy(170lbs,44yrs).

Now military press is harder to do than a bench press. How big are you? Thats a heck of a lot of weight to military press, especially that many times.

Now, you need to post a double bicep shot and let us see those guns you must have!

Rick, a rep is, one press up & down. 10 reps means he pressed it up and lowered it down 10 times.

Mag,

I'm 32 yrs. old, 6' 3" and 277lbs. My biceps are not that large (19").....I'm built more like a powerlifter/strongman than a bodybuilder (thick waisted...lol).

BTW, you actually are doing more than 150.....75# dumbbells are actually more difficult than the same weight on a barbell. When I do them, I press the 120s for about 10 using strict form and full range of motion (you've seen the cheaters out there).

If you do the math, you and I are on the same level body percentage wise......not bad for a 40+ year old guy, good job!

By rough calculation, I have pressed the bar handle of a 35lb. lawnmower 27.3 mile this year already......
